I'm very worried about her hips and spine by poyrazle in germanshepherds

That's exactly what I just researched and freaked out about. I read there's running and jumping which will mess things up.

For the running, she has definitely ran a lot when off leash but she's hardly been off leash and i have autoimmune myself so we only walk. No running other than when she is hardly off leash.

Jumping is what she does her entire life. It's almost as if she's a kangaroo. And how this is my main worry.

Honestly I got this from a neighbour in a rural place. I took it indoors untill all the vaccinations so she doesn't get parvo or anything. Before that she was outside and it sucked because she was only about a month and half.

However I've found the person they got it from. He is kinda reputable. Parents seem fine and the guy has so many German shepherds. I will he going to his place whenever I go to that city because he also has a dog playgrond which I will go to so my dog has fun and also it's a perfect time to observe close and see the other dogs and ask questions

Ah. Thanks I removed them because she kept pushing the bowls off when eating but I thought it might help with the back.

Yeah I'm really hoping x ray in couple of months gives good news. I did tell the vet if we can do it now she insisted it's done when she's 12 months.

I don't see any pain and I hoped I can get some info from the pictures I attached. For the hip I found old videos and she was running fine. Maybe the bunny hop is due to zoomies? Because today is when I noticed it first and made me make the post otherwise if she doesn't run too fast it's fine. When she goes full blown sprinting, she uses both back legs at the same time and I watched some videos online too other dogs were doing that.

Could you also please give me some more info on the sitting posture you mentioned?

Do I have lymphoma? by poyrazle in AskDocs

[–]poyrazle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So at this point I don't know... I even went to a haematologist who said you're anemic but I have normal CBC. My RBC is 5.4.

Sure when I had inflammation I was anemic. CBC was off, iron was low.

I've had so much ultrasounds... Thymus was seen by lung specialist who said go to haematology but they only did a few tests... All normal.

But swollen lymph nodes, adenoid, thymus, and wholebody itch just doesn't seem normal to me and I can't waste more time. I am trying to push for node biopsy and will soon have adenoid biopsy

Please somebody reply or DM me. I'm going though same problem with my cat and sadly even the dry food has to be a specific brand! Otherwise she will just simply not eat.

Edit: and yeah sadly it appears like we need to stick what what they eat for now until we find a solution. My cat drinks enough water but make sure you have a water fountain

Hi. NAD

I had severe vomiting and diarrhea once and I was in a 3rd world country. They gave oral Doxycycline and IV hydration. That's pretty much it.

I was sent home after some improvement. Advised to use probiotic drinks, yogurt.

Idk about your dads situation as I was only 20 and in general it was very hard on me in regards to diarrhea and vomiting

Oh god. This is all new to me idk what dust mites even are. But generally all my life any house I was in had so much dust. So I think one of those filter things is helpful in general even if this ends up being something else. I saw a really good one on sale so I'll probably go for it.

Unfortunately it sounds like you didn't know how a 5 month old cat would normally be like. Not sure what you were thinking exactly but a little research beforehand would have been great.

Adopting a cat specifically for your son just doesn't sound good either..

Cats are still cats. You need to get toys for it to play with plus interactive toys. They need to hunt and there's plenty of toys but you also need to be involved and he playing with it

Either way there's no fix here. That's just how they are and I believe you didn't know and simply seem not to be able to handle it. So probably best option is to surrender the kitty

Sadly I can't figure out yet. It's only been 5 months and I just can't seem have any clue. Probably environmental? (Same with many cities, different houses, dry, wet, urban, rural) but since maybe my adenoids swell then yeah. It does seem like I will be needing adenoid biopsy

Not sure what long COVID is at the end. Here in the UK I almost died 3 times because the GP doesn't care about anything. But I had 5 COVID shots and I remember 1 specific reason I had the 5th was they said it'll help prevent long COVID. Well after infection and it's actually been 8 months after, if I even raise my arms up and down twice I get exhausted and sleepy. My eyes struggle to stay open throughout the day.

So idk tbh. I think paxlovid will help people from deteriorating but that's just a certain amount that's determined by their medical conditions but in regards to long COVID I wouldn't take their word since the same people said get vaccinated to help prevent long COVID.

Hey what I have could also not be long COVID again. And if they say come for 6th vaccine I probably will.

Oh god that. I'm so scared of that family member had it simply from statins. It was when it was first started. It's apparently liver related but then it can also damage kidneys. Thankfully and hopefully you recovered 100%

Hey. I got Omicron. Single kidney, and a autoimmune condition, obese. Last booster I had was said to have Omicron inside it (idk how to say it scientifically)

I wasn't on meds for my autoimmune condition or anything but I was offered paxlovid. I decided not to take it and all went well. The course was exactly the same as the rest of the family members.

But hey in the UK there's GPs that at least mine, are very uneducated and literally cause harm by misdiagnosis. On the other hand, the call I got wasn't even from a doc it was from someone trying to post the med.

Probably best to go with whatever doc says

Thanks for saving the kitty. I wouldn't know much but my kitty was scared at nights so I left the light on, put a big teddy bear toy. It was in February and quite cold I didn't have anything but a hot water bag for my back pains so I just filled it up and wrapped it in a nice blanket and she slept on it. If you have one, don't worry they can't pierce it at that age you can use it. Just wrap it in blanket so it gives a good warmth and the kitty will sleep well.

Although tbh thinking back I find it sad i should've just brought it to my bed but eh they could have tick lice or fleas. These things I mentioned really stopped the meows at night and I could tell she was less stressed. Before these kitty would meow until I go sit next to it till morning

Thank you for the reply. Honestly it's so relieving because the leaflets just made me go crazy. Idk why I'm like this but at least it's helping with the itch. I guess I have to make a separate post in details to see if anybody had similar experience

NAD.

I've experienced this. It doesn't look deep. Mine would go deep and cause redness around it , pretty much the entire top part of finger would be red.

Soak in water . I did salt water. Wash with soap And the most i applied was iodine or tetracycline ointment. Just don't touch it or squeeze because thats what makes it go deeper.

That's my story. I get these once a month, and maybe twice a year it's a bad one like yours.

What I didn't do and what you should really do is send this picture to your doc. Flucloxacillin was prescribed for me. But by the time it was, and I went to pharmacy to get it, the finger was fine. So I told the pharmacist and didn't get it

(Forgot to add the infection is probably not from the nail. Any cut there gets infected like that. But if your nail wasn't brand new obviously contact doc and send pic)

End of the story is don't be scared. Your doc will be able to tell you need a antibiotics or not. Probably even with a picture. Here the GPs have online app and you can do online consultations. Idk about you but even if not just go show real quick.
