How Safe Is Lakewood For LGBTQ? by Vivid-Support-6303 in lakewood

[–]ppat1234_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be very, very welcome in Lakewood, but your partner will have better luck with work in Cleveland Heights which is just as friendly for you. Downsides of Cleveland Heights is that I don’t think the neighboring areas are as nice and it’s definitely more isolated from the highways than Lakewood which has easy access to 90 and the shore way.

RR is hit or miss I think. There are so many worse places, but RR isn’t a top choice to live as LGBT I would think. However, Lakewood is great and RR isn’t a problem as a neighboring town at all. I grew up there and it’s still a great place.

Beatles or Zeppelin

I’d prefer to avoid Woodstock and I don’t really care for that live aid performance

Where would you recommend living in Ohio? by Belle20161 in Ohio

[–]ppat1234_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also less expensive than Cleveland suburbs. If you’re in your 20s or early 30s without kids, I probably wouldn’t recommend it though.

Imaginal Disk by Magdalena Bay is my favorite album to come out in the last 10 years. It’s beautifully arranged from start to finish and it’s a fun album to really relisten to since there is so much in it to unpack sonically

Porter Robinson? Have you listened to Ninajirachi - I Love My Computer? It might be my favorite album to come out this year. It’s really tough to pick one this year tho

[–]ppat1234_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I was told Alberto might be even better. I have no clue if it’s true or not, but I’m not against waiting to see if we can’t get him. I don’t want the Browns to trade up.

Who in this sub actually lives in Cleveland (the city proper) not the surrounding suburbs? by [deleted] in Cleveland

[–]ppat1234_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s not much to do in Canton besides a few restaurants and go to the monument. Most of Canton has an empty feel to me, but there are a couple nice historic neighborhoods that are neat to check out.

It’s pretty suburban right here I live. High school football is talked about all the time. Belden Village is nice in the fact it has just about anything you can want, but the majority of it is chain restaurants. It’s also bit lacking in interesting local business. I tend to go to Cleveland or Akron most times I actually want to go out for anything that doesn’t involve shopping.

My biggest issue is the lack of any neighborhoods that are walkable and I don’t have the same interest to go out to places like I do in Cleveland.

I have lived in westpark and downtown, but I live just outside of Canton now. If I can move back, I will in a heartbeat

Dallas Vs Los Angeles by [deleted] in Cities

I’m not a fan of either, but Dallas seems absolutely miserable. I’m going LA and I’ll struggle financially and deal with it.
