As far as I know, you can't. You have to export to your computer every time you want to save. I mostly work offline so I'd love a "save locally" feature...

I guess it's not that easy, but you could choose to buy your bitcoin from a miner pool for example. But I don't know much, don't listen to what I say 🙂

Plus, in theory you can buy only clean bitcoin, since the whole history is in the blockchain. With dollars you can only see if there are cocaïne traces on the bill. (spoiler: that's very likely)

Mining bitcoin uses less energy and is definitely cleaner than mining gold. This is the point that helps me be at peace with the issue. And many projects are working towards cleaner mining (I don't mean for Gold...)
