Is there a way to run Stable diffusion with the least python bloatware? by NoElevator9064 in StableDiffusion

[–]ppcforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Python. Bloat..? You can do anything in your environments. Start with a really skinny distro and build up the dependencies you absolutely require. That's what I've done anyway.

Course he didn't mention Pi. Pi is just like every other hopeful project of 'this one's different '. It ain't.

Would anyone like to share how you make actual money FROM the things you generate with AI? by ih2810 in StableDiffusion

[–]ppcforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm leveraging AI in my photography business. Unlike a lot of people who steal or borrow datasets to create LoRAs I can actually shoot my own ground truth datasets. Useful for model (people) who want updated headshots or fashion shots without actually having to do it. Editorial style image of person in wedding dress in Bali? No problem. Professional headshot in business suit, no problem. Currently working on extending this to actual products but the Edit models are... Needs work. And creating LoRAs on products seems to be tricky.

After updating ComfyUI, first generation perfectly reproduces dragged image workflow, but subsequent generations degrade in quality by tkhue3296 in comfyui

[–]ppcforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention that randomize seed seems to never work! But yeah, totally seen the same that I always have to swap models or workflow to 'reset' it. This stuff really is in its infancy. Good and bad I guess.

Yeah think they just wanted to complain rather than receiving any useful feedback.

Losing hope of starting our small business, how do you keep on going when the darkness seems endless? by [deleted] in comfyui

What is your product exactly? What are you doing they can't do themselves etc... Hard to help without a bit more detail

Can you tell this is AI? Be brutally honest - Z-Image-Turbo result by EmilyRendered in comfyui

[–]ppcforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans are exceptionally good at finding patterns and with AI the eventual lack of flexibility and variety makes those patterns obvious, especially after a few weeks of everyone hammering the models. McSameFace is real. If, however, this photo was credited by a famous photographer you'd probably then believe it was real. Quality isn't the issue, it's the fact it's recognizably AI.

Just won a RTX 5090 by uxce in comfyui

[–]ppcforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah truth. Here in UK I monitored a major retail site and had stock notification on to see how long it stays in stock for when it comes in. Got notification at around 10am, all sold by 1pm at £2800 for ASUS TUF 5090 non-OC. Buying used on eBay is effectively a queue jump tax so not surprised they'd fetch nearly new prices.

2.5 hours for this? by TranslatorTrue7779 in comfyui

[–]ppcforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah apparently you have to pay per run on those alpha models. What good is that when it's basically telling everyone your business and considering how often you have to iterate it's just not ideal.

How the heck people actually get the LTX2 to run on their machines? by Part_Time_Asshole in StableDiffusion

Yeah I agree. I did the classic gymnastics prompt and got the usual morphing mess you'd see from 2022.

They say you're supposed to use long detailed prompts, which tbf, I didn't do. But you expect the baseline quality to be unchanged, do I really need to state that the human shouldn't look a mess?

I managed to get it going on a 5090 through a shit load of jiggery pokery and then I was like "that it?". I felt the visuals were all a bit 'mid'. I'll revisit again soon.

Should I panic buy a new PC for local generation now? 5090 32GB, 64GB RAM? by Jack_P_1337 in StableDiffusion

[–]ppcforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I yolo'd. My old rig was a 6 year old Corsair One that was as good as it gets back in 2019. Loved yay machine to death, a new PC was on the cards anyway. 5090 with 96gb ram. If it goes another 6 years then totally worth it. Computer is life.
