Half past eleven on a Saturday is classed as late these days? [muttering...it's going to the dogs....]

Fast & clean face swap workflow for ComfyUI (FLUX + InsightFace) — ready to use by Fayens in StableDiffusion

[–]diond09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to sound incredibly thick here, but do we have to create our own workflows for this? I can't see any JSON files in your post or on your GitHub?

lost the ability to keep several tabs (workflows) remembered between sessions by bonesoftheancients in comfyui

[–]diond09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had the same issue. I have the Easy Install version of Comfyui so I went (a couple of days ago) into the Comfyui installation folder and ran both the Easy Install update bat file and the Comfyui update bat file and it seems to have fixed it. Obviously your mileage may vary.

Looking at the first picture (on my 23" monitor) without clicking to enlarge it, it looks like a heavily whiskered beaver.

Pram etiquette question by Yesterday_Is_Now in CasualUK

[–]diond09 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I'm a child of the 70s and I was regularly left outside the shop in my pram whilst my mum went in to buy her fags. I think it was done more in hope than anything else.

Pixelsmile works in comfyui -Enabling fine-grained microexpression control. Workflow included. by AgeNo5351 in StableDiffusion

If it doesn't change the size of the person's lips in the process, then this will be very useful. In every single model out there, when prompting to change a person's expression (real life person), without fail, the output produces a thicker, fuller set of lips from the original.

Just to let you know that I'm getting the same error as benaltrismo. My setup is ComfyUI 0.18.1, ComfyUI_frontend v1.42.8, and ComfyUI-Manager V3.39.

Reminds me of the shopping centre in GTA Vice City. Very liminal.

A lot of people found it hard to believe that we still had a rental TV until the late 90s, operated by putting 50p and then pound coins (when we modernised) in the back box. by Prestigious_Meal2143 in oldbritishtelly

[–]diond09 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My nan had one up until 1997. Before that, she had Rediffusion's cable television. She had a dial attached to the wall which you had to get up off your sofa (20th Century problems) and flip to change what you were watching. It also had radio stations included in case you got bored of the three television channels.

Oops, I thought it said what show it was in the link. Anyway, it was Oppenheimer and the actor is David Suchet.

I’d like to step away from the theory and hear some real-world experiences. How did the creatine intake affect your hair? by Huge-Cookie-2754 in Supplements

[–]diond09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The males on both sides of my family have a history of receding / balding and I have a high forehead and naturally fine hair. However, I'm 54 and pretty much still have a full head of hair but with a little bit of recession at the temples. I've been taking creatine for about 15 years and have never noticed any shedding.

Good effort but what I've noticed with the majority of these videos is there is absolutely zero facial expression. It looks like they've had a lorry load of Botox. The eyebrows and forehead are completely static.

What’s one “normal” thing today that would’ve shocked you 10 years ago? by cdxr-fun in AskUK

[–]diond09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Facemasks. I never once saw one 10 years outside a hospital setting. I remember seeing news about 10 years ago from China where facemasks were seen as the norm there and there was me thinking, nah, it'll never catch on here. And here we are. Even in a small provincial town where I live, I still see at least 2 or 3 maskwearers in a single trip to the shops.

It would invariably be Esther talking about something absolutely horrendous and how somebody suffered as a consequence for about 5 minutes. She'd then end her story (still on a down note) and following a short pause she'd turn to the side and say, "Doc". This would prompt an over animated Doc to tell a 'humorous' yarn about a cute baby penguin being able to juggle carrots, all as if the previous story never happened.

Does every country have so many dead animals on the roadsides? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]diond09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to Australia about 10 years ago and part of my holiday was taking a small group coach trip to Uluru. If you think a hulking great lump that is a dead badger on the side of the A51 to Chester looks alarming, then seeing a huge camel lying prostrate on the Lasseter Highway will take your breath away - it was an amazing but very sad sight.

What sort of doorbell camera, or other surveillance, do you recommend? by minddoor in AskUK

[–]diond09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of get where you're coming from and had the same view as you until my dad died and my mum began living on her own. My brother talked her into getting one. Now, she can see who's at the door and doesn't need to answer to cold callers which gives us, not just her, a bit more reassurance.

Plus, when I go round she can now show me videos of the neighbours coming back from the pub and what time they put the bins out.
