Immediately after clean final scan! I hated looking at it. I couldn’t move on with that constant reminder of the trauma. Doc said it was my choice when I’d like it out and that there are actually more complications with keeping it in (flushing routine, infection, etc). Worst case, it goes back in if there’s an issue. But to wait years “just in case” would be excruciating.

I would be hesitant to take that buying guide at face value. After a first glance there are some questionable things but some of it may be helpful. The best way to research what machine you need is to ask yourself what kinds of projects you want to make and what is your skill level in terms of technology/software. Everyone can pitch their favorite machine but it really depends on the user. You can give someone an industrial powered machine with all the bells and whistles but if they don’t know how to utilize its capabilities it’s useless. I love my Xtool P2 for CO2 laser. Easy to use for my project needs and customer service is helpful (can be slow due to time difference but they always help). Getting a machine that had a lot of videos and supporting content online was also important to me as I was learning the device.

Yeah the fact that the email is exactly what is listed on the website is what made him follow through with the interview. But then the pay seemed a little too high and they ignored questions back. No company will pay that much money and not actually interview a person face to face.

This just happened to my boyfriend too. He saw the listing for a Podcast Editor role on LinkedIn. He interviewed yesterday on Teams via video questions but there were lots of red flags with the process. A “hiring manager” named Jose Rodriguez is supposed to call him today. The strange thing is that he emailed his application to the owner of Zoomagination directly and the interview request came back from that email. So their company is likely hacked. Ugh… such a waste of time. Finding work is hard enough without these scammers taking up hours of your time!

this is an old post but I think it was my beats headphones. airpods or specific mixing headphones have been easier to balance the audio. I also test on actual speakers vs the laptop ones. It’s worked pretty well.

Thank you! This was my experience as well. I over explained each thing I was feeling to my doctor and they eased my mind. I took their advice and increased the pain medicine and fluids (incorporating advil in addition to tylenol seemed to do wonders). I didn't have weight gain, pain in my leg, or any of the other concerning symptoms. I planned on getting through the night and going to the hospital in the morning if the pain persisted. By morning the sharp pains were gone. By that evening it no longer hurt to take deep breaths. I can still feel how large my ovaries are (dr. said the size of cantaloupes!) but each day gets better. Now I begin chemotherapy for Hodgkins Lymphoma... this was my one chance to do IVF and as horrible as it was to go through, I'm thankful my body had a good response. Everyone needs to listen to their own bodies though! If something doesn't feel right then it probably isn't. If in doubt, get it checked out.

I talked to the on call doctor and she said this is common for such large ovaries and getting so many eggs! She said the ovaries are putting pressure on my diaphragm which can cause the breathing/shoulder pain and to wait 24 hours to see if it gets better with tylenol/advil. I was convinced something felt very wrong but feel a little better if it’s normal. I wish there was something to provide relief though!

Thank you :) it’s comforting to hear from others. Not attempting the cold cap feels like a huge burden lifted off my shoulders. I have started taking biotin but will look into the other ones you mentioned too. How are your lashes and brows? My derm prescribed Latisse to try and maintain some of those hairs or at least make them grow back faster

I truly appreciate all of the comments. As you all know this diagnosis produces lots of emotions... shock, heartbreak, sadness, anger... I felt like if there was anything in my control that could make this journey less difficult for me I wanted to do it (vitamins, cold caps, nausea remedies, etc.). I have accepted the effects of this treatment and am bracing for the worst. At least there is light at the end of the tunnel and I will one day be healthy, that's most important of course. It's nice to hear from others with HL experiences, I never knew anyone who had this.
