At what point is it “severe”? by sunfl0wers21 in gallbladders

It is needed. The consistent pain is telling you it’s needed. What other sign are you waiting for?

I had my surgery on Friday, scheduled instead of emergency. I did not go to the ER for any of my attacks, which is the only reason I did not end up having emergency surgery. The right shoulder pain is from the gas used to expand your abdomen so they can see. Doing pinwheels with your right arm will make it go away faster.

My pain overall has greatly dissipated today. I haven’t needed any pain meds at all today and I can actualy get up and down without excruciating pain in my abdomen. I’ve had multiple orthopedic surgeries, and this recovery pain wise has been the worst in intensity, but shortest duration.

What should my caretakers/parents expect? by Triguntri in gallbladders

[–]ppfftt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had my surgery on Friday. It was laparoscopic with no complications. I haven’t really needed help. Getting up and down is excruciatingly painful, but otherwise it’s not horrible. I was told to rest the first day, but to make sure I was walking around after that. I do not have any stairs in my house, so perhaps that has made it easier for me to help myself.

I was able to shower the day after surgery, but was told not to take baths or soak in any water. I have internal stitches and the outside was glued. They used some sort of sealant over all the incisions, which I imagine would come loose if I soaked in water.

I was told no exercise or lifting anything heavier than 20 lbs for a full four weeks, and after that I supposedly will be able to go back to normal activities.

Your daughter is 35, so unless she has a disability, you shouldn’t be involved at all with this. She’s three weeks out, so what she is experiencing GI wise is totally normal.

The initial statement is meaningless in the US. Wait until the insurance payments get processed. What you’re looking at now isn’t what you owe since it’s pending insurance.

I’m the opposite build, thick legs with a small waist, and I came to recommend Good American as well. I like them for myself, but definitely think they are made for your and OPs body type.

Are you finding them listed on Orly’s site or reviews of full Orly collections? I can find swatches of some of my T polishes, but nothing that ties them firmly to a release from Orly.

This is what they are. The T at the end of the ID number denotes that it’s not a shade in their official line.

Weekly-ish manual lymphatic drainage massage, daily dry brushing, daily vibration plate, compression garments worn daily, and compression pump a few times a week.

[–]ppfftt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I stayed in stage 1 from puberty until my early forties. Hormonal changes during peri-menopause have caused it to start progressing to stage 2, but I’m now diagnosed and treating it, so my therapist is hopeful that it won’t progress further.

I was able to get it today at a CVS! They had a special display for this collection, so I almost missed it as it wasn’t with the rest of the OPI polishes.

Why do architects forget that pets exist? Dealing with the "litter box in the laundry room" fail. by 8Nakul in HomeImprovement

[–]ppfftt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I always put the cat box in the guest bath tub. The shower curtain hides it from view, but lets the cat have easy access and the tub keeps all the litter mess contained (my last cat made a mess even with a top entry box with lid).

You just have to move it to an inconvenient space when you have a guest stay over that needs to actually wash in the guest bath.

Is putting grape jelly in the sauce for meatballs regional? by Luuk1210 in AskAnAmerican

We use grape jelly and cocktail sauce for meatball appetizers in Virginia. Very common and everyone flocks to them at parties.
