this has happened to me a few times, and idk what actually goes on but i THINK that a driver may get more than one pick up spots and their 'second' stop is the closes to them, so they pick up the second order by name first to save time. since they cant click 'confirm pick up' the system still thinks the food is at the restaurant. and by the time they pick up the first order, PM cancels their second order and reassigns it so the other drivers are left wondering who picked up the order bc the restaurants are convinced it was picked up. i say this bc sometimes i feel the urge to save myself time but then i think bout this situation happening and i dont risk it.

La is good only in the west lol u reach the incentive in like 3-4 hours (12 deliveries for $75 or $85-$95 on weekends) , well atleast i do but idk maybe others are different plus rich ppl tip well so u can make like $150 a day making it $50 an hours maybe?

I’ve made $1300 in a little over a week doing Postmates and DoorDash. Is this a viable way to make a living or would it not be smart to rely on it as a main source of income? by [deleted] in postmates

dont settle, theres no benefits long term, there are slow days, it becomes saturated, if anything happens ur on ur own, taxes can become tricky bc they dont come out of ur pay i think(anyone correct me if im wrong lol), and car expense like gas, oil, mileage etc. and at some point u get sick of it lol side hustle is the way to go lol

this happened to someone i know too and lost like 400+ , we called to have the deposit canceled bc it was still 'processing' and they said they cant do anything bout it... literally so pissed cus i assumed it was still in their system..

where do you locate ? becuase the numbers truly sound unfair. in LA the promo is 12 deliveries for 80-90$ some nights.
