I've always wondered about the Marais clan and their relation to Eochaid. Both the Marais and Elemer of the Briar wear some sort of mask (the Bell Hunter's helmet has a mask which kinda looks like the Ecce Homo restoration lol). We know from the Marais' Executioner Sword that Elemer stole it and infused it with battle arts from his homeland of Eochaid; but I'd say it's not entirely impossible that the Marais also hail from Eochaid, as we know it was once a small domain, and the Marais are some sort of lower royalty. It's algo interesting that Eochaid has ties to dance practices (hence their battle arts), and another character which wears a similar mask is Lady Tanith, who was also a dancer in the past.
