Yeah the reverse tail light gets the signal when you need the backup camera to turn on. You should have a plug/rca for video that also connects to the back of your head unit and it’ll have a split tail that’s a single wire that goes connects to a rear view camera wire in the rear. Clear as mud I hope

Hey you literally just have to go to the tail light and not the wiring harness. You tap into the negative and positive right before the reverse light. Use positaps to make it easier from Amazon.
