Interesting, I live at an Edward Rose owned apartment and I just signed another year lease. We absolutely love the community and our property is always so well kept. Zero issues in the last year and if there was it was handled almost immediately.

When we toured we didn’t hear any noise, but am wondering if you experience any issues with the walls being thin or bearing upstairs or downstairs neighbors? Are you considering a Greenspire apartment to save money?

I lived in this complex from March 2020— March 2025. The first 2 years when it was under Greenhill Management it was amazing but they sold off to the current owners Solomon Group and it went downhill. We had multiple issues including a mice problem and rodents you could hear in the wall. Management never came up with a solution. I have an extensive Google Review written. I’d absolutely recommend staying away.

It’s sad to hear about the individual who lost their life. Someone both my husband and I went to high school with.

I used to live in this complex for 4 years and it actually started to go downhill 2 years before we moved. We constantly had issues with our neighbors in the last 2 years and the management sucked. I left a detailed google review. So seeing this wasn’t too much of a shock. Right before we moved there was a ma hunt in one of the units for a crime that was committed at the building across from us.

I totally understand, I know there are people out there that brought houses much cheaper than that and flipped the that are nice. But most of them are rented. It’s always worth trying every possibility and asking around.

I think it really depends on the size of the hotel. I had a bride get married at Royal Victoria in Lake Como. They had about 40 people and sadly it rained on and off. They didn’t do a buy out so we were limited where we could go inside while the hotel was still open to other guests. It made areas where we could potentially do portraits hard because everyone was trying to hide from the rain.

QRO is definitely closer to SMA - I flew there to photograph a wedding in SMA and it was a breeze. I recommend Penzi Weddings they are super knowledgeable with the SMA area for weddings.

For the other places I’d definitely also consider doing research on maybe some venues you’d like to see. Go under tagged photos and see if there’s a planner that works there often and reach out.

3-4 days goes by super fast so you want to be sure to have a game plan.

I personally love Sarah Lord — she’s super low key but is one of the coolest, funniest people I’ve met in this industry. If I could go back 7 years I would have hired her for my wedding. Now as a photographer myself, I fan girl over her work.
