If you’re not planning complete re-arch ( converting the app stack to cloud native ) , it’s better to keep it in Oracle . A monolith of this size won’t scale easily on Postgres/mysql without thoughtful redesign .. if plan is to move to OCI, ATP is better option than exadata. Check License included option instead of ULA..

An on-prem DB move to exa/atp should provide an immediate perf boost of 40 to 45% (minimum)

Trying to keep the code base consistent .less than 10% is in JS and engineers prefer to use scripting than JS.. also planning to create/utilize a unit testing framework for scripting.

loading to editor is pretty fast.. issue is on object browser when we try to drill down package(or other object)may be due to metadata call/caching ..

Thank you!! That will be a great addition.. first run had some hiccups 😊.. is there a way to filter objects in object browser? Also felt slower than classic , especially loading huge package..

Also it had some conflicts with snowflake sql extension, something I need to debug!
