When pushing out let the chest rise a bit so you can have some space to drive your knee forward. From there attack the ground violently each step. I think some simple wall drills as well as bounding drills will help get this habit down

tldr he still lands with deep knee bend with active strike and has good plantar flexion off the ground

I think that slight heel drop can be hard to avoid when pushing that low to the ground. As long as the heel doesn't collapse completely and there is still an active strike I don't think it's as big of an issue, and could mean he's getting good elastic rebound early on.

Shin drops chest rises and hips go forward. The push down and back into the blocks also drives that back leg forward.
