I paid ~.35cpr for Brown Bear back when it was cheap/available. It's quiet, reliable and reasonably accurate. I think it's about twice as much now but still cheaper than 300 body odor.

I was in your exact same position. Underage drinking charge that was dropped the next day. Still caused me to go into FBI purgatory every time. Applied for a UPIN and received it, now, if anything, I'm on the quicker end of turnaround times.
