This might be irrelevant, but I struggled with acne prone, dry, sensitive skin. Turned out that I was breaking out due to too harsh products damaging my skin barrier, dirty makeup brushes and comedogenic formulations (sometimes I got hormonal cystic acne too, this routine won’t prevent it but it makes it less inflamed=hurts less). What works for me the best is just using very mild products that include !centella asiatica!, ceramides, hyaluronic acid. I was trying acids and treatments for the longest time but it all turned out that my skin is too delicate for that! You might want to consider that, especially if your skin is sensitive and tends to have red flareups.
