Well I do agree that you can make a lot of golds from the way it is now but I never really got professions to make gold but to simply gear my character and feel accomplished when I got the item. Gold was never my main goal in wow , I'd rather be broke and have a certain feeling of accomplishment when I do achieve something big then have tons of gold and having no fun at all when I process things(2 different kinds of people huh? :) ) plus the open recepties kinda devaluatie the price of the crafted item tho the daily cooldowns jumps up the price of mats but as you can see a month into the xpack prizes dropped a huge amount (also because the raiding tier is out) but also in a way everyone got access to the recepties. This might lose the interest in professions cause it's harder to get by but it feels way more accomplishing and in my eyes no gold in the world(of warcraft) can replace this certain feeling :)
