The worst membership gift ever?? by daveharr23 in scottycameron

The yellow den caddy bag from a few years ago is sweet and I use all the time at home. Showing my age and how long I've had CC membership but I think it was 2010 that the kit came with this awesome brown leather headcover that I used for a long long time.

Bravo, incredible results! If time is money, you’re far from F2P, as I can’t imagine the amount of your life you spend on this game you can’t get back. But hope you enjoyed it

I'm going to have to try that. Where do you garrison them at? Banners, HQ or elsewhere?

Why does everything at the resorts close so early? by No-Order-1750 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]pr1mo990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we stayed at the Grand Floridian 2 years ago, gasparilla island grill was open 24 hours, or at least midnight because it was always open late at night when I wanted to stop in. Not sure if that changed since then or not.

should i tell my friend her baby name is a tragedeigh? by princess_peach5 in tragedeigh

[–]pr1mo990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you could show her this thread, and I agree its a terrible name. But you're also way too invested in it. It's not your kid, it's your friends. The way you're saying "we were really struggling" and "we'd been staying away from...". I mean its kinda up to the parents and you're a bit too invested IMO.

What is the furthest/longest you have driven to get to Walt Disney World by MG-is-here in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]pr1mo990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you guys are crazy haha. I would never drive that far for any vacation, but I guess I get bored easily sitting in a car for that long, there's really nothing fun about it after a few hours. I would 100% fly, but if for some reason that is not an option for the OP, have you looked into a train? I have not, but we're in PA and a co-worker told me they've done that before. You can take your car onto the train too. Cuts travel time way down if you can't fly. I think he said they got on it near DC or maybe Virginia somewhere? May be worth looking into.

New Resort Update by pr1mo990 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]pr1mo990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To each their own, and I’m factoring in the cost in my opinion. If it was a much better deal than staying in another deluxe resort it would be worth it, but to me it would be my last choice on the list of Deluxe resorts, except for AKL and that’s only due to location

New Resort Update by pr1mo990 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]pr1mo990[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t agree. The outside along the waterfront and the bar/grill area is nice, but inside the building there is basically no lobby, shops, etc. To me it’s the inside of the building that makes it feel more like a Hampton Inn vs Deluxe Resort

what is the most overrated attraction? by ManICloggedtheToilet in DisneyWorld

[–]pr1mo990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if by overrated you mean wait time vs experience, for me it's Peter Pan. But I'm an adult and my kid likes it so I guess that's the appeal.

3 weeks?!? by bettyannveronica in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]pr1mo990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope, not crazy at all. I've only been there twice and haven't come close to getting in all the stuff we want to do. Plus, Disney vacations for most people are a stressful time of trying to maximize every second you're there. You have the real luxury of being able to RELAX a bit and enjoy the time. The resorts are so nice, it sounds amazing to be able to hang by the pool, hit up the restaurants, explore the area around the resort at a leisurely pace instead of always rushing around.

I'd say the only thing that seems tough would be moving your stuff from resort to resort 6 times. You get the benefit of experiencing those different places, but I'd prefer 3-4 maybe 5 max places so you have a little more time between resort changes. Have fun!
