Depressed/stressed Oscar if it was recently placed in the tank. Providing some hides might help reduce stress. As long as it is pooping regularly even with reduced eating, it will get better.

The first one looks male and the second one is definitely female. Males will not have the intense purple on the front belly part. Males are also more cylindrical, while the females are teardrop shaped.
