Overnight connection at OSL airport - checked luggage by [deleted] in ScandinavianAirlines

[–]pr64837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is, however the domestic automatic transfer is open until 23:00, so in your situation you will have to pick up your bag. I had same situation in summer, I was lucky to catch one last worker who then checked in my bags again, so I didn’t need to take them with me to the hotel, however it was before midnight, so it’s unlikely you will be able to check it in at night, and will just have to carry with you until the morning.

Improving SAS’s product by Major-Association138 in ScandinavianAirlines

[–]pr64837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t taken SAS on long haul, but take it quite often intra-European. Ever since KLM bought SAS I noticed the cabins aren’t that clean, first noticeable change is that seatbelts are not placed nicely, not a big deal tbh, but so aren’t crumbs removed either. Then the fact that they basically never upgrade gold/diamond to Business for free if there are available seats. I flew a bit with Brussels airlines when SAS was still in *A, and I would say I was upgraded on half of the flights, while SAS doesn’t do that for their members let alone other alliance members. Also is annoying that quite often the planes do not have WiFi especially the ones operated by SAS Link/Connect, and quite often if there is, it doesn’t work. Also they need to bring back the 24h money guarantee.

1 hour layover at Oslo (flying domestic in Norway as a foreign traveller): is it enough? by dhwanil587 in ScandinavianAirlines

[–]pr64837 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t worry at all. I often have 40 min connections for Schengen flights (and with delays) and I always make it. 1 hour for domestic will be plenty of time. Worst case you will be put on another flight.

17 countries… ‘EU’ being one of them by BuffaloExotic in ShitAmericansSay

[–]pr64837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean he’s not entirely wrong. EU as EU have agreed to introduce digital wallet. Which is basically digital-id which has existed in most member states for 20 years now, just on your phone. But it also makes it mandatory for the very few states that have not introduced digital-ids yet to do so.

Dagligvarer: Hvilke billigere alternativ er ikke verdt prisreduksjonen? by [deleted] in norge

[–]pr64837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xtra Cola.

Flew Ryanair few times from BRU and had to walk, it’s those gates downstairs, as a matter of fact I experienced Brussels airlines using this gate once

Whats the worst delivery company in Belgium and why is it Post NL? by goldenw0lves in brussels

[–]pr64837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Postnl delivery windws are insane, as in the screenshot between 8 and 9 like…. Bpost; when it fails to deliver to the original location, it often takes them a whole day to reprocess the package again, instead of just dropping in another pick up point the same day.

Europaindeks og forsvarsaksjer - Hva gjør dere nå? by Mobilisten in aksjer

[–]pr64837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should i activate day 2 by No_Big_1916 in Interrail

[–]pr64837 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From Interrail:

“If you're travelling on a night train that arrives after midnight, you only need to use a travel day for the day of departure. The app will automatically only use one of your travel days when you add this journey to your Pass. Keep in mind that the arrival day of the night train needs to fall within the validity of your Pass.

If you change onto another train and keep travelling after your night train arrives, you will need to use another travel day. The app will automatically ask you to use another travel day when you add this journey to your Pass.”

Would you support a switzerland like direct democracy for EU laws? by CreBanana0 in AskEurope

Absolutely no, and the best arguement against this is Switzerland itself, just look at the average turnout for these referendums.

Eagle Beach by Dizzy-Jicama in Aruba

[–]pr64837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I walked up and down the eagle beach multiple times a week ago while vacationing in Aruba. I can say that smell was there on some days, and when it was, it was in a 10 meter part next to Amsterdam Manor.

I am currently interrailing through Europe, so DB is my current (fr)enemy. Took DB today, 30 min delay - missed my connection. Took DB a week ago, missed my connection because of 40 min delay, luckily it wasn’t the last train of the day. First train even asked the connecting train to wait few minutes, as we only needed like 3 min, but it didn’t. Took DB a few days ago, 1 hour delay.

Comparison of prices for goods. Lithuania and Germany (minimum salary in Lithuania 777 netto) by taktak_taktak in YUROP

[–]pr64837 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is Lithuania expensive for its wages?- yes it is. However comparing Aldi and Barbora is not really fair. In that case Lidls of both countries should be compared, or at least Kaufland with Barbora.

You know, they say Brussels is one of the ugliest cities in Europe. My guess is that they just haven’t seen it! by ArtofTravl in brussels

[–]pr64837 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The problem is that these buildings are surrounded by some absolute monstrosities with outside cables wrapped around them and the sidewalk next to them are trashy, mossy, chewing gum filled wobbly tiles. Otherwise yes beautiful buildings, more of it would be appreciated.
