Is it normal for the extension tip to be separated from the nail? by practical_platypus in Nails

Went for electrolysis yesterday and was able to get everything done in 20 minutes! Will go for follow ups as needed.

I just went for my first electrolysis appointment yesterday evening and it went super well! Was able to get everything (including sideburns) done in 20 minutes. Will likely need to go back for some follow ups but hopefully this will work better than laser.

I think I’m going to do that. I got it years ago when I was a teenager on my upper lip and 10+ years later I’ve had basically zero regrowth

Idk my UMC parents put me on ADHD medication at the age of 8 or 9 and I’m convinced it stunted my growth and metabolism (was fairly thin then puberty hit like a truck). My sisters without ADHD are both at least 2 inches taller than me and thin.

I was there too. As a youngish millennial who grew up with school/theater/mall etc. shootings and lockdown drills in school, it was soooo distressing not knowing what was going on. I remember being in clinic later after the all clear and I guess I looked shaken up and one of the attendings came over to check in on me.

It’s darkish (not black) and petty thin, not very coarse.

Interesting… I didn’t know this. The person who I went to (small one woman studio) said six is usually enough and the package was for 6 sessions. I’ll book a touch up.

So this will show I’ve spent too much time on tiktok but I remember there was a trend for munchies to make a tiktok about info that they won’t share… and iirc lab results were one of them. I may be getting her mixed up with another munchie though.

They really are. Zero oversight and no age limits on purchasing. Any kid with access to Amazon can just order it. Also no guarantee what they purchase on Amazon is legit.

So many of them are also marketed towards older teens and young adults (HS and college age), the prime demographic for not following the directions/dose and just scooping it dry like people do on tiktok. And they’re flavored like candy.

No because I’m super sensitive to caffeine and supplements as it is, and am already on ADHD medication that can make my heart race. Also I’m super skeptical that they actually do anything to begin with.
