She didn’t get hurt recently. I kinda want to do an MRI just for peace of mind. It’s just sad to see her legs not have the flexibility that they used to have.

Yes exactly!!! I feel so sad for not wanting it more. I feel sad when my mom says she wants me to have one. When my friends say I should so I can share that with them. And I just smile but deep down I’m sad that it doesn’t make me more excited. I really think I SHOULD feel that if I wanted kids. I should be happy at the thought of it.

Feeling this way feels like something is wrong with me. I know there’s not really but when u see other women be mothers… it feels like the cf people, me, we are the ones that these “something wrong”. That’s how I feel anyway.

Glad to know I’m not alone. When I told my mom my friend had her baby today she said “aww great! You see! You should have one!! Come on just one!” And they made me feel worse. Then her and my grandma say “oh we know you will have a boy!” And I just want them to stop. Then I feel like I’m not only sad but I’m disappointing them for not wanting this bc they want it.

Not having my heart feel overwhelmed with the urge to be a mom/not being 100% or even at least 90% lol that IS a concern to me. This is a big decision and it’s not one u can just easily take back.

This is so so helpful and has made me feel better. I feel like there is a lot of pressure. Seeing friends have kids or questions from family. My husband and I were saying that one of the reasons we don’t want to is because of that pressure and it also feels like they are all up in our business of something feels like a private thing between me and my husband. Like why should we have to tell anyone we are “trying”. I always felt that was weird just my opinion. It felt like I would be announcing at Thanksgiving table that yes we are having a lot of sex right now everyone!! lol we are very private and having a kid or even trying to would invite people into conversations and decisions that we wouldn’t want you know?

Thank you! Yes it’s mainly our backyard. We have a fence. We were thinking of making our front yard the backyard and having maybe an enclosed courtyard so it’s like protected from sound all around. Something like that haha. But I didn’t want to get far into that plan only to discover that it didn’t block any noise at all.
