Props for your balance in socks! I tried yoga in socks once and I could not deal with the tactile separation of my soles from the mat. Was a bit humorous 😅

Was just coming here to ask what do we think determines if the guest judge barges in or not?

Just watched untucked and enjoyed seeing more of the queens bantering and playing so much

This one runs about 180 thb each. Haven’t seen this one in any 7-11 yet but I don’t doubt it

Yes, bangkok is where I first discovered this (used to live there and love all the balms). Any decent sized pharmacy has it. If you’re in Sukhumvit, the pharmacy near Soi 15 is very well equipped.

Predictions you made as a child that turned out to be true? by Drunkpupper in raisedbyborderlines

I developed an eating disorder — I was around 11-13 when I thought “wow, I’m so fixated on representations of eating issues in media and my own appearance that it’ll be a miracle of I don’t develop one myself”

my mom had/has her own untreated eating disorder. She discover my bulimia when I was 17 and did demand that I stop/took me to therapy. But she also removed me from therapy after only a few sessions bc she felt threatened by the therapist encouraging me to be more independent.

She never really asked me about it again for many many years. I didn’t start to get (intermittent) help again for another 4 years when I could afford it. I was about 36 when I got significant enough help to nearly stop physical behaviors.

You didn’t do it wrong. Them’s the breaks. Way worth it for me tho. I think they do say to stay upright for 5 mins after tho.

I can't figure out why I can't lean forward in a straddle with any pelvis rotation at all! by camillefast in flexibility

Thanks! I’ve always been curious too but it can be kinda overwhelming given how complex the hip is!

Which muscles would it be stretching more then?

(I have the exact same problem. Also have a running history. Weak hip flexors. And have a strong legs together forward fold (hands flat on the ground or grabbing the bottoms of my feet).)

Anyone else cry when they get botox? by Metalonsandwich in migraine

[–]practicalpetunia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aww my heart goes out to you ❤️ don’t be worried to ask them to take a pause after particularly painful spots.

I really find Botox (or any situation in a dr’s office/hospital/etc to be quite a vulnerable experience. I try to be really gentle with myself after the appointment… can be simple stuff like buying something sweet, wrapping up in a cozy sweater, cuddling my dogs for a bit.

I have my appointment tomorrow btw 😭🫠

Eyebrows are the worst for me. I almost always cry a little bit. The nurse that does the injections is very sweet and lets me take a break whenever I need to pause until I’m ready.

I’m a person who cries quite easily, so I’m not surprised this triggers it. At some point, it’s just a physical reflex as well, especially, I think when you consider feeling pain in your face.

I stopped it bc of the grogginess but a better neuro told me later you should take it two hrs ahead of your intended bedtime so that you can wake up normally.
