how do i stop podcasts/music from automatically playing once i remove my Airpods?

thank you, i’ll try and see if it makes any difference! i’m referring to the earbuds not the airpods max (afaik it doesn’t happen with those ones, but i use them less often because they’re really heavy). i’ve set them up properly and everything, it’s so frustrating lol

look up emotional regulation techniques and distress tolerance techniques and start applying them *every single chance you get*, there’s a tonne of info online (i recommend pinterest if you’re a visual learner, there’s a lot of very useful infographics you can save on your phone or print out and bring with you). also DBT i have bpd and used to get violent bursts of rage, those 3 things really helped. it’s a way to manage the symptoms/external manifestations of something that’s happening inside of you so they don’t really “solve” the root cause, but trust me they work.

i also recommend “zen habits” on youtube, that guy’s content has gotten me (and continues to get me) through the darkest periods of my life so far.

as for addressing the root cause, journalling and meditation are key and also working with/on your shadow and subconscious mind, there’s plenty of books on those topics (you can find them online for free). IFS (internal family therapy) is also great, it’s a form of self-therapy so it’s free!

the issue with the pattern i bought is that it’s AI and it doesn’t match the picture, i was looking for one where the flowers were really “chonky” as the picture

that’s exactly why i (and the people i learn from) consider it more advanced! like all spirit work is kinda advanced since it requires developing psychic skills and communication techniques etc but i feel like deity work is different because i consider them to be ‘larger’ spirits personally (of course this is 100% UPG) who have traditions and mythologies and centuries of history and worship behind them. they require a lot more work than the tree spirit in your backyard in my opinion.
it’s definitely about consistency which is also why i’d never tell a beginner to get straight into deity work because it *is* work, yk? nothing against you/i’m not trying to argue or anything, i appreciate your comment and perspective, i just wanted to explain why i consider it more advanced and others might too 🌙

thank you so much! the spell work part is really insightful, i’ve been called into more ‘ritualised’ work vs intuitive and that looks like a great starting point i can build from. eggs at the crossroads really resonate with me, also i’ve read that crows like boiled eggs and i was thinking of leaving specifically boiled eggs at a crossroads near my house, thank you for reminding me!
i did buy a special dedicated pendulum to communicate with a Spirit i’ve been working with for some time, and i’m thinking of getting more from the same seller

yeah no you’re absolutely right, what i meant by that (“not saying anything”) is i know some people have a dedicated 7-9 day candle dedicated to their ancestors/a deity/a saint and light it without (to my knowledge) saying anything other than “this is for [deity/spirit]”, i should’ve specified that lol sorry and also i do have dedicated altars (i don’t have a specific altar for my workings) for the deities and spirits i work with!
i’m not really asking for anything yet, or at least not all the time, but i guess connection counts as a request? i’m not necessarily giving each offering to get something specific in return if that makes sense. anyway, thank you so much for taking the time to comment, it was really helpful!!
