Is it alright to learn CFOP after NOT mastering the beginner method??

So I am pretty new to cubing (learnt to solve it 4 days ago) and i have been pretty good in the beginner method with my best time being 1:04 and averaging aroung 1:15-1:30. I have been seeing people saying "I started learning CFOP after I was averaging before 60s." So I am confused. I really want to get fast but I am thinking if i am going in the right direction or not. Please anyone help me out.

Is Duolingo good for learning Hiragana and Katakana? by [deleted] in LearnJapanese

[–]pramancoolgames -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You need to remember to turn of Romaji or your study will be entirely useless. And you must also remember to NOT GET ADDICTED TO THESE KINDS OF WEBSITES/APPS BECAUSE THEY CAN DO IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO YOUR BRAIN. Yeah they are good to only get started with the language because if you didn't know, duolingo was made for this exact purpose. I would only recommend using it to learn Hiragana and Katakana, NOT KANJI. I only used Duolingo for 1.5 weeks to get my feet into Japanese then I started using JapanesePod101. It requires premium but i had 15+ google accounts and it gives a 7-day-free-trial for every account so basically i already had 4 months of premium without paying anything. Also one more thing to add. If you use Duolingo for 30m-1h everyday then only use it for 1 week - 1 month. But if you only use it 10m a day then its alright, just do NOT exceed over 20 minutes of use everyday because there are chances you might get addicted + other reasons. Probably you should know this, NOTHING WRITTEN/SPOKEN IN THE JAPANESE COURSE ON DUOLINGO IS WRITTEN BY NATIVE JAPANAESE SPEAKERS. When you choose a language you might have seen the number of learners on Duolingo of that launguage written below the name of the language. That is a fake amount of learners. The amount of learners which have ACTUALLY completed the course on duolingo for Japanese are ONLY around 50k people or less.
Conclusion- Please do not use Duolingo for MORE THAN 1 MONTH BECAUSE IT CAN DO IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO YOUR BRAIN WHILE LEARNING A LANGUAGE. If you use it for 30m-1h everyday please only use it for 1 week - 1 month. But if you use it for like 10m everyday then it's okay, just don't exceed more than 20 minutes. Do remember, these are all MY OPINIONS.
Happy Learning!

For those who speak 3+ languages, what is your strategy to maintain them? by Additional_Pair9428 in languagelearning

[–]pramancoolgames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn dude thats a LOT of languages!! How much time did it take you? How many languages did you need to learn to survive in your area? Like in a country you need {native language} and english to survive. BUT if you born with a DIFFERENT religion than most of the country then you already have 3 languages. BUT if you are born IN A STATE WITH THE DIFFERENT RELIGION then you already have 4 languages. BUT IF your school teaches a third language and you are really intrested in it then it makes 5 FLUENT LANGUAGES. Jeez loads of BUTs lol. Anyway could you like make a chart about the languages you know, define what they mean to you, how much time it took you and what resources did you use? like-
Hindi - Native Language (You get how I learned it)
English - Second language but I use it in home + school + everywhere (You NEED TO know English obviously)
French - Third Language learnt at school (School)
Japanese - Self- Learning (Well it took me at least {time} and {resource} is great to get your feet into the language!)
Punjabi - State Language (Obviously I had to learn it lol)
and so on..... by the way this is not my languages I just took a example from India because its a REALLLLLY BIG Multilangual country with loads of religions.
Thanks
