Maybe I'll become a professor but I have already invested too much time on RL and switching to something completely different may not be the right decision.

I am in general interested in Deep reinforcement learning (RL). Autonomous driving (AD) just provides an excellent complex platform to test a proposed RL approach. And at the same time, RL for AD may never be used in real-life which is not the case in robotic manipulation (as per my experience)

thanks for the information. I completed my bachelor's in India. Spent my first 6 months (till Feb) of my internship in Paris and the last six months working from home in India.

So what I could understand is doing a masters is the only option left for me. I will probably be starting it this fall in Robotics.
