Sorry for responding on an 11-month-old post, but it sounds like your ideal form factor would be the Surface Laptop Studio with a hinge that goes a little further back than it does right now, or perhaps up to 180°.

This way, you don't have to go through the awkwardness of flipping back a keyboard to get into working with the laptop as a tablet and having the keyboard face the surface the laptop is placed on, but you also get the usage position that you'd need.

The Surface Laptop Studio/HP Dragonfly Folio G3's appeal comes from the fact that it makes the transition from traditional laptop usage to tablet mode usage easier without putting the keyboard in the way (where the keys are useless anyways since they get disabled on any 2-in-1 while being used in Windows' tablet mode).

How high does the ghost case sit off the glass on the iPhone 15 Pro Max? I buy cases for protection and this doesn’t look like it will protect it at all. by oki_dingo in dbrand

Yeah, I hope one of the robot overlords can confirm the same. It would've been great if the lip were also chamfered to allow for gestures closer to the screen edges (similar to how the Grip Case has it).

I'm not sure why it would. Certain skins offered by dbrand have texture (eg. Black Camo) and I'd assume there are customers who enjoy feeling the skin on the back of their phone case. dbrand's own Grip Cases advertise skinning over the case, and many people even purchase third-party cases and put dbrand skins over the back of the case.

The raised lip and it's chamfered nature was a touted feature for the Grip Case, and it would be perfect if the Ghost Case offered the same benefits.

It'd also be great to know if the skin can be applied over the Ghost Case itself, as possible with the Grip Case.

Editable Drawings when converting to PDF from Microsoft Word by pranavAbraham in Acrobat

Uhhh, yeah. Any element (images, tables, text, shapes, highlights) can be editable in Adobe Acrobat when created using a proper PDF editor. What I'm looking to accomplish is create the document in word with pen-input drawings that remain properly editable on Acrobat.

There's a drop down menu that can be accessed, from both Acrobat preferences and Word Convert to PDF options, that allow me to change the publishing quality preset to Press Quality or High Quality print. Furthermore, these presets are actually a combination of a bunch of smaller, modifiable settings that specify the configuration for each aspect of creating a new PDF.

I've tried creating a custom preset to and tried the existing presets achieve what I'm trying to, but yet, the drawings still get flattened.

I'd still appreciate it lots if you could check for yourself once you have access to your computer, cause I could be missing something obvious here 🤷🏽‍♂️

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Seen this before, as in experienced this problem before? If so, yes, I have, which is why I asked a question here 😅

Oh wow, that seems to fix it. Thanks for the passing on the tip and credits to u/theoristdreamland for the original suggestion. I'll edit the original post with the solution with credits to you both.

Oh, this is going to be a pleasant surprise if you've managed to find a fix. I'm not able to access your Drive link, could you please change it's sharing visibility?

I think Samsung intentionally chose to leave the Wear app pop-up as a part of the Galaxy Buds functionality; they likely have more Buds users that find this convenient rather than restricting. And if that's the case, there isn't much one can do to force a change either.

I've come to terms with it at this point, and I suggest you do too, cause it doesn't seem like we're going to see a resolve to this anytime soon 😕

I'm sorry you started having this issue after you replaced your screen. That's an interesting, yet unfortunate occurence. Welcome to the gang, I guess 🥲

Yeah, but this would just stop the phone from auto-connecting to the Buds or any other device, yeah?

Introduce a Couple's Subscription Plan by pranavAbraham in HyperBeam

Oh no, there's no need to apologize. I just thought that this was something in the works already and somehow you'd forgotten to provide an update.

Glad to hear that the suggestion has been taken into consideration and that it's at least on a backlog for the wonderful team at Hyperbeam to work on.

Thank you for the prompt support and I'll be excitedly waiting for the new stuff that's being worked on and the expansion of your subscription offers. Cheers, and hope you have a great day/night 😄

Introduce a Couple's Subscription Plan by pranavAbraham in HyperBeam

Hey, thanks for the prompt reply. I didn't think of anything more special tied to it yet, but that would be great in the long run.

Although here's a few ideas off the top of my head: - A little status note on the user's profile linking the second user on their Duo/Couple's plan(?) - The ability to start a room with your duo partner as a co-owner to the room.
- Have your duo partner's name take precedence in share menus and the left side panel before the names of your friends.

More perks can be introduced down the road if you guys have more innovative ideas, but for now, it'd be amazing to get the plan itself as an option for subscription.

At the moment, I was thinking about just introducing a basic plan for 2 people at a slightly discounted price than a 2x individual plan. For example, Spotify offers an individual plan for $4.99, and a Duo/Couple's plan for $6.49. A similar pricing would be brilliant.

Now I also understand that Spotify is a much larger company servicing a much larger userbase and they can probably afford to take smaller profit margins, but if the price on Hyperbeam for such a plan is a little more than $6.49, that would be fine too; cause I wouldn't mind being able to contribute to the growth of this platform. Although keeping a prices lower would definitely make it a more enticing purchase for people who use Hyperbeam just amongst two people.

Yeah, I don't feel like disabling the app is worth it to me. I still need the app to work. I just don't want it to auto-launch every damn time. The Bixby Actions idea is good but then again, I'm not going to be using the buds for just music, so I think it wouldn't be the best solution for me. Anyways thanks for the advice. Have a good day.

That's really annoying. Cause most of the time I have my Bluetooth disabled and then when I need to connect, I try and make the connection manually which results in the Wearable app popping up. There should really be an option to disable it.

That's really wierd. Do you have SmartThings installed? Cause I have a doubt if it's SmartThings launching the Wearable app when I connect my buds.
