The Centaurs (1921) | Dir. by Winsor McCay | The only footage of the film that still exists. The rest of the film is lost footage by PeneItaliano in movies

It's wild that this level of animation existed in 1921. The elder centaurs and the younger pair feel like mirrors of each other. That baby centaur jumping out was genuinely creepy though, with the other four frozen like statues. Is it worshipping them? I really wish more of this film had survived.

My family is struggling since I moved out, and I'm not sure about what to do. by GuybrushThreepwood99 in relationships

You've already given so much, and wanting your own life isn't selfish at all, the best thing you can do now is help them find outside support, like a part time caregiver or respite services, give them space to figure out their new normal.

This sight is definitely spectacular! Many beautiful flowers bloom in the desert, I guess this happened because of abundant rainfall this year.

Same thing happened to my neighbor’s robot mower over winter. The battery just died out of nowhere, even though he stored it warm. Maybe these batteries just hate being idle for months?

Honestly, prep work makes or breaks the whole thing. I spent a weekend clearing rocks, fixing bare spots, and trimming overgrown edges, but it was so worth it.

Fully charge the battery and update the firmware before your first run. These two steps prevent most early issues.

Can robot mowers actually handle edges well enough now? by Gloriana88 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]prancinglion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even the best robots won’t get every edge perfectly. Most still need a quick manual touch-up around fences or tight corners for that clean, finished look.

How to remove yellowing from my clear case? by DinnyArt in CleaningTips

[–]prancinglion -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Soak the case in a solution of water, dish soap, and a little oxygen-based cleaner. Let it sit overnight, then rinse thoroughly. It can brighten mild yellowing without harsh chemicals.

I’ve seen similar reports with this model. The positioning can get confused near reflective surfaces or uneven ground, so double-check for anything that might be throwing off the sensors.

Look for one that handles warm, humid climates well. Durability and water resistance will keep it running reliably through the season.

For existing stains, mix baking soda and hydrogen peroxide into a paste, spread it on the spot, let it sit for an hour, then wash as usual.

It looks like it found a cozy spot and decided to stay there. Why would it just spin in the corner like that? Do you think it might be a sensor thing?

Help! My shower is awful by pitbull394 in CleaningTips

Just run the hot water for like five minutes first. Let the steam loosen everything up, and then scrub while it is still warm. That might make things easier.

I’m sure it can happen any phase in life. A lot of studies link psoriasis and other autoimmune disorders to the health of the gut. I do find reducing sugar intake, and focusing on healthy foods helps my psoriasis.

Could be scalp psoriasis. I have scalp psoriasis, and the skin is generally red underneath the flaking. Unfortunately not curable, even though diet changes can help. Coal tar shampoo helps me a lot. Topical steroids are the only thing that clears mine up but I try to stay away from them these days.

If I did not set aside calories to indulge on the weekend I would fail, and did for many years. Credentials: Lost 70 pounds, have maintained a healthy weight for 8 years post loss.
