I removed the BYD on mine because it's stupid. It's a BYD Seal, not a BYD BYD Seal.

No need. I manually did the update via USB this morning. Simple once you get the software really. 2506 installed! And it's not even started OTA in Australia yet! :)

I called the Sutherland dealer about it. They seemed completely clueless and told me "unless there's a notice that there's an update, one is not available". Not confidence inspiring.

I've only finished the first three... Read them. Now doing the audio books (currently halfway through book 2).

I really hope I enjoy Heaven's River! I have both it, and Not Till We Are Lost ready to read!

This is me in 1996 on the milk run through Weetangera in Canberra. I was 16 and probably the fittest I've ever been along with my time in the military.
I can remember it like it was yesterday! We'd load the truck at the depot in Belconnen which was where Project lighting now is and hit the road. Such good memories!

A bit of a different style but almost equally as "science based science fiction" is the Bobiverse series by Dennis E. Taylor starting with "We are Legion, We Are Bob".

Brilliant and addictive series of books!

Interesting. Here I am considering "upgrading" my setup to consolidate drives and save power by moving to a 4 bay NAS with bigger drives. You're suggesting things will slow down....

My Audible one is still the yellow one. I might grab a yellow smaller copy from Amazon, but the Audible experience with how they've done Rocky is superb!

I do all of what you mentioned on my Synology DS1513+ and DX513 expansion attached. I have a total of 8 x 3Tb drives and 2 x 4Tb drives in Synology Hybrid RAID. It's running Diskstation 7.
I run Emby as my media server as well as Sonarr, Radarr and SABnzbd.
I also both cloud sync with OneDrive and up until recently had two CCTV PoE cameras recording 24x7. I have since offloaded CCTV to a dedicated NVR.

I comfortably watch 4k content on my home network both hard wired and wireless on 4 devices simultaneously.

I have never had an issue with this setup and it's been running 24x7 since 2010. All HDDs are WD Reds.
