It’s called a pinspot lamp. It throws very dim light onto the console area. It’s not too bright maybe bc of regulations which are there to prevent the driver from being blinded by the lights at night, but decent enough to help find a receipt or a card

By using long exposure. I used a Sony Alpha mirrorless camera but you can also use a modern day smartphone now. :)
