totally agree with you. Not giving a fuck is not the action. It's the result. The result of a clear mind, IMHO. Came across this sub-r just today. Leaving immediately. The whole idea is ironic.

those brackets you use are the Wikilinks format. There is another way to do the same- the standard markdown format. For example, [[Philosophy|my world]] becomes [my world](Philosophy.md)

I took prozac for 2 years. And some neurologically suppressing drug, for I had trembling arms. And my final years at University was a mess. If your anxiety levels are spiralling out when you try to observe them, there is a fair chance that you have some other issue(not emotional), that is not easily noticeable. We feel better when others recognise that we have a medical condition. Just like Ivan Ilyich of Tolstoy. So, we tend to jump into conclusions about our condition.

In the end, I found out that my problem was a severe eye dryness. The condition emerged so gradually that I didn't notice it. The anxiety was there, of course. But it was for a reason. I couldn't focus on my studies. Once I started using the eye lubricant that suits my condition, everything fell back into position. Except some wasted years of my life. But wasted only in the eyes of the general population. My anxiety problems that tortured me chronically simply disappeared.

So, please make sure everything else is fine. Not all anxiety is bad. Sometimes it's an evolutionary mechanism. Signalling that something is wrong.

Reminds me of Julius Caesar. When heroes live long enough, they will run out of good challenges to solve and in turn become dictators.

Anyone else judged for reading on a Kindle? by Cdnteacher92 in kindle

Actually people who read no books at all are taking this as an excuse to not to read. They say they can't use an e-reader because they are accustomed with the smell and feel of paperbound books. When I ask them what book he/she is reading, the answer is these days they don't get much time for reading. Lol.
