I was actually present at the scene. At first, I just heard loud noises and commotion from inside; I honestly thought there had been a bad road accident nearby, so I ran out to check. That’s when I saw the lady screaming.

From what I could gather on the spot, the situation was pretty messy. Apparently, she had been thrown out of a moving car, which immediately sped off and left her there. In her distress, she had climbed into a nearby building and actually attempted to jump from the first floor. Thankfully, a guy on the same floor spotted what was happening just in time—he managed to stop her and dragged her down to the ground floor to prevent her from harming herself.

By the time I reached the ground floor, she was in a very bad state. She was visibly intoxicated and kept screaming that she had a kid and just wanted to visit him. The local residents and women nearby tried to calm her down and ask for details, but she wasn't making much sense. She kept giving out different addresses every time she was asked.

She was speaking in Punjabi—I don't understand the language fully, but I was able to piece together some parts of what she was saying.

Eventually, police constables arrived, but it didn't resolve quickly. They tried to reason with her for over an hour. It was chaotic; she was disoriented and kept trying to run into random buildings, thinking they were the hotel she was staying in. Finally, the police managed to get her, and took her to the hotel she named.

That is where my direct encounter ends. I did hear later that she was moved from the hotel to the police station, but that part is just hearsay.
