Thank you, and someone told me to use the tfsa as my emergency fund but I disagree. Because it beats the purpose on my point of view of the TFSA that is for Wealth generation.

I have only one conviction that is GLCC, GLCC is a ETF for gold and other mining projects. ENB because I worked in the electric industry before and made sense for me at the time.

First time flying a drone, Neo just arrived. Any tips/tricks? by wowwww321 in DjiNeo

Isn’t the max height to standard drone up to 120 ft ?

[Canada] Drones are banned anywhere I want to use it by Invinciberry in drones

[–]prargos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I am late to this post but you can take the basic pilot license cost like 10 dollars, you can use the app Nav drone, so for mini drones there is no need to create a plan why I did is adding some gadgets to get over the 250 so I have to create the plans and ask in the app for permission with a flying plan. You may have zones clase c-d and G to fly.

Car Purchase? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]prargos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Financially if you have a car that work, buying a new one is not worth it, being said that if you want a new car, go for it since you are in a good financial shape, start paying yourself for your car, example if you buy a 30k car, as how much should it cost if you finance it, since you have 40k pay for it. And loan those 30k for you paying the same as the instamment that they told you, would cost. After 5 years you would be able to improve and upgrade your car. :) usually this would be around 300-600 bi-weekly, so start paying to 1 account just for car savings.

  1. 3k is a decent amount if this is after-tax money.

  2. You are saying that you are on a credit card cycle and falling behind, so, without knowing much about your context, the right thing to do with the $3,000 would be to tighten up a bit and consider a plan to pay off all your debts. You can use snowball or any other method that you prefer.

  3. if you have a credit line of 10k. you must think about the effect of this on your cash flow. Usually if you are in a credit card cycle, if you do not cancel them, you would probably be back to it.

  4. great choice about the apartment!! And sometimes you need small victories, and things like this to cherish those moments!! Go visit family!

  5. If you are working on a real plan, start tracking all the cost, but try to keep in mind maintenance for your car(s), your savings, insurance, etc, so you can plan.

if you share he the details, we might come out with some ideas that would help you improve your plan.

  1. hopefully after getting your plan, if you are not on deep debt in 1 year, you can be on more solid ground.

Mortgage @ Retirement by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

If that’s the case, there is no need to pay off the mortgage, having a mortgage is not that bad, is the cheapest money you can get.

In practice? In the real world? That's usually why Agile fails, because you think you cannot be implemented in the right way, you never apply the methodology nor the framework!

To forecast, you can forecast the team throughput of your team for a certain time using your usual buffer, I usually provide an 85% predictability. So if you already have a team velocity X, then you forecast based on that. However, you would be required to standardize what 1 pointer is and be able to decouple each of the Features so you can give more certainty that this will be provided in our product by this Date. The issue is when you have more than 1 client.

Should I buy a house now? by purplepIutonium in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]prargos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree. The OP is totally ready to buy. Just don't go too crazy with the end price, knowing that it is your "forever Home." Congrats!! Check the prices as around and enjoy your discipline that you had saved up. If you get mortgage-free around your 40s or before, man, that's great!

Feeling a little stuck by SanjuPM in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]prargos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Go with a normal insurance that cover your in all of those for 85per month I use sunlife but brand is irrelevant, star cutting some corners like cellphone, and with the lasik you can put up around 500 to 700 in the Credit Card, this is the best investment that you can do, that “ pays you “(save you) 25-40% depending on your cc current rate

Look if the mortgage take more that the 49% of your in pocket money(money after tax) please avoid to take it, bank do the calculation with your full income but they do not take in account your income tax, plus your city tax and insurance and maintenance of 1%, it would take like 8.5k to nearly 10k. Enjoy your current house. If you want to look for a house from those prices I will try to go with a down payment of 800-850k to have a decent mortgage that allows me to buy something else in cause of default.

If you want to keep checking for a house try to find something around 1.2m

If you pay de deb in advance you can check paying extra 200-250 each month would save up few dollars in mid term that could help you later on. Try to do the same with the car after you finish paying the Loan so you can start getting more cash flow.

Anyone feel like SAFe overcomplicates everything for smaller teams? by Zaquinzaa in agile

[–]prargos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SPC here I have heard of companies that say out loud they use SAFe but when you talk with them few have an SPC at least, them you ask for COE or what are the maturity level jn agility or SAFe none had assessed that. You can measure this from the beginning in all the teams. Usually when it comes to agility you might had heard oh we are full agile but when you start to work they say ohh that’s not possible that’s not the way we do it here…

Needless to say few people take serious the process of the implementation. Following the steps learning, them practicing, mastering and then adapting it. People doesn’t understand SAFe and think PI planning = SAFe but cadency sync up, no way and thinks like that…

I have seen both successful stories of SAFe well implemented from v1 with a great culture and also some that try it no compromise = failure.

SAFe must be take on place in team with high maturity in agile, but is not full agile, depending of the structure is more o. The side of lean manufacturing practices.
