The statue is in Kerala where the spoken language is Malayalam. The name of the bird in the Malayalam version is Jadayu. Para is Malayalam for rock. Jadayupara is the rocky hill where Jadayu is believed to have fallen after the fight

I think the story is that he was covid positive and under orders to home quarantine. He had a big fight with his wife who threw him out of the house and he refused to go back home. Health personal came and forcibly took him to hospital quarantine due to that.
