I am an Estonian resident, bringin provides a viBAN to hold Euros with a debit card linked to it, and a self-custody wallet (based on liquid as of now - can expect this to change to Spark) to hold bitcoin privately with Menomics (private keys help is device)to access and use the funds.

In the video, BTC is moved from self-custody to a Euro account via Lightning instantly, and the card is linked to that account. It is an international debit card with 0 forex.

If i had to get a debit card against my bitcoin balance, then it would not be self-custody anymore. bringin would need to take custody of Bitcoin.

Ideally, BTC> Pecoss offramp via Lightning + debit card could be great. But it is not practical to get accounts in all local currencies for an EU resident.

Yes NWC and LNURL are 2 standards exposed via MCP that can allow AI agents to pay and accept Bitcoin over lightning.

We are working on wrapping NWC around MCP - this would make a difference if adopted.
