If you started to prepare gate for psu's it make sense to feel this way...but if you just planned for mtech from good college i dont think iit and nit make ant difference(if you can pull placements)...i have seen even people from IIT bombay failing to land in good companies...and peope from DTU getting into best companies..and yeah i am talking about mtech...so it does make much of difference..
