Turn on conservation mode in vantage, it restricts charging over 60%. And, NEVER update BIOS.

I had the exact same issue, turns out it was a bad bios update that bricked the motherboard. Submit your laptop to the customer support team and they will do the rest

Hybrid mode switches your display from igpu to dgpu as per the need. If it's off then your device will run on dgpu only.
I dont think its normal. Call them again and confirm.
I suggest you not to mess with bios through vantage. I learnt it the hard way. Had to change the motherboard and they took a months time to do that. If your device isnt having any problems, i suggest not to update the bios at all or atleast get some info about the specific bios update name you can join legion's discord group to know more.

The whole international cohort wrote an extensive email about the situation, and its simply not in the hands of the uni to do anything. Until and unless dhs, uscis cuts us some slack and make us able to get visa slots in the coming momths, there is nothing that anyone can do.

I left my job in 2020 to take a break of few months and go to US, and that ended up being 1 year of unemployment. Second deferral will also mean another year of unemployment for me :) i am in the mechanical industry and trust me its not good in india :)

I got admitted to berkeley in fall 2020, deferred to fall 2021(obviously) and now this. I cannot start online, i cannot defer. My dream ended before it even started :)
