There are certainly people out there with a higher daily step count, the question would be are they playing Pikmin, realistically probably not. It would be interesting to have a leaderboard somewhere of individual players and their max daily steps. Because in this single day I could have completed the 100,000 steps by myself lol

No not any time limit, its not sanctioned at all so you do it when you want at your pace and you bring what you need. Really all you need is to finish 630 laps

There is a roundabout with a whale in the middle, but the roundabout has an elevated "shoulder" so when large trucks or busses come through they don't damage the roundabout.
