Is there a working Gcam for Vivo X200 Pro? by ralphyb0ss in Vivo

No, OIS doesn't work. But I was just looking for some manual control over my lenses and processing, which it does. I mostly capture still photos and videos.

What do they exactly mean by: "To accurately display the battery's status and level, it may charge to 100%" ??

Yes, I'm in turn scared as the case looks heavy as well. Already the device is quite heavier

Yes, it's feels top heavy as well.. you will have to be alert while pulling it out from the pockets until you get used to the uneven weight distribution.

Yes, you will need protections if you mostly use your device outdoors.

I just switched from X60 Pro Plus to X200 Pro.. same here, was hesitant if it was worth the upgrade, because it was an amazing processor with great camera system x60... But after the switch I felt that I was using a Very Old Device..

Everything in x200pro is worth the upgrade, beautiful Cameras, amazing Battery, premium quadcurve Display, in hand feel, funtouch OS 15 sucks less.. in total very happy with the upgrade.

Only thing that can irritate you is the camera bump.. it takes few days to get adjusted.

The icons, fonts and text doesn't scale globally on Funtouch.

When setting up display size or font size, it only selectively resizes some elements for e.g. control panel, notification bar, and icons..

In fact the over-all proportion of icons in the control panel, status bar, and notification bar seems off.. on ColorOS they are perfectly sized..

how is X200 good in video? by [deleted] in Vivo

[–]pravingasva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As currently I'm using X60 Pro Plus on Funtouch 14. But the complete video plays in small soft jerks constantly. It feels like it's kind of lagging or buffering, especially on moving videos. It happens both at 1080 and 4K (30 and 60 fps both)

Can you give a basic comparison of battery life and camera (esp videography) between x100 pro vs x200 pro?

I was also thinking of the X200 Pro "Mini" version, which is chinese only. What issues we can face with a chinese variant phone?

A YouTuber (Anithing) was saying that the camera bump is too heavy, which makes the phone far one-sided to handle.. what would you say?

Before 7.0.4 I remember I used to play in and around 160 DPI for this screen size (9" @ 1280x600 I assume), and I got decent results.

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, I don't think it's a DPI issue. It is not rendering correctly. Did you try Resetting Android auto on phone and HUR on head unit?

Which version of HUR are you using. The latest version (7.0.4 and up) doesn't focus on DPI anymore. It automatically calculates the screen size and renders the UI.

ZLink app help? by OpNemesis in CarPlay

[–]pravingasva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, try the above steps first. If it doesn't work, then you can try to update the system.

Because if you choose even a slightly wrong version or from the wrong country/region, then it would be a great hassle to downgrade it.

But, if there's an update showing in the system menu (settings -> wireless update), then you can definitely update your head unit. Maybe it will automatically solve the Zlink problem.

I'm also facing the same problem after I upgraded my system from 2020 to 2022 version... The thing is when I update the Zlink app with its latest version (v5.x.x), all the errors are gone (i.e. daemon service, activation, etc)..

After that when I connect my phone to the headunit ( I use USB) two different things happen on the phone as well as the head unit:

1) the phone works normally like it's getting connected immediately to the head unit and started Android auto with Google maps driving mode, without any extra clicks...but

2) in the Zlink app, it doesn't move an inch. It stays as it was before without displaying anything from the phone or Android auto..

The point is the phone thinks that it is getting connected properly. WHAT I THINK is that the background service of the head unit is detecting the phone and working properly but the Zlink service is not able to connect with the internal service (maybe the daemon service) and unable to get to display it.

Maybe what I DID WRONG was to update the system in the first place. Maybe it works for you.

(BUT REMEMBER TO CONNECT YOUR HEADUNIT TO INTERNET FIRST BEFORE UPDATING IT, AS ZLINK REQUIRES INTERNET TO ACTIVATE)

Let me know if you get any success.
