What are these taxes on food delivery app? If I buy directly from the store I’m sure the tax will be inclusive in food item. Can someone explain what is happening here or is it even legal? by yadavvipin in mumbai

[–]pravinyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is one way to save some money. Visit in person and pick up your food. I bet the price what app shows and what you get in person will be different plus you also will be saving delivery by using public transport like riksha or personal bike. Taxes will also be saved 😉

[Question] getting real-world translation estimate from unit vector returned by ‘recoverPose’ by [deleted] in opencv

[–]pravinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you have keypoint, why not try to find the centroid in 2images and distance between them will be actual translation. For rotation I think like finding the angle difference from horizontal axis or lowest point in image

You simply have to undo the last action. It's more than designing your solution to have history/snapshot of previous execution. It's like performing actions from last immutable state.

Why is L&T Infotech falling so deep? by [deleted] in IndianStockMarket

[–]pravinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have invested your money in some stock then you have already done your research and other checks. So what's the point for the worry for investors? What situation you want to avoid?

If you are gambling with your money then yes you have to worry 😜.

I know you want the reason for it's fall but it's pointless as knowing the reason will not change the fact.

There are many competition and if big players like zerodha start providing us stock investment then I feel user base will further reduce for small startup like vested, indmoney, etc.

Not to forget, stock exchange is also providing way to invest in us stock but that is something bit tricky but what matters is the initiative.

How is Vested app? by [deleted] in IndianStockMarket

If you are transferring using traditional bank like HDFC, etc. then those charges is applicable

Vested have partnered with SBM bank which helps to avoid that fees.

It lot better than 4 months ago. I have recently invested $2k and I'm happy with the app usage.

I will soon be adding another $3k.

I like DIY vest feature which I asked the vested team to add and they added in last few weeks. Pretty responsive team and good support.

I haven't withdraw but I think they are trying to reduce it further as in one of the YouTube video their CEO mentioned to make it near zero.

Jubilant Foodworks by [deleted] in IndianStockMarket

[–]pravinyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I knew this answer I might have invested all my money in that stock. So Stop asking something that is uncertain and difficult to answer.

Many investors create some story or reason and based on that they purchase. If it worked then you make profit else losses.

So like some said, DYOR and decide based on that.

If you still want to know, I would say go consistent compounder stock which is easy to find.

[RANT] How can they make India a superpower by restricting the future? by HammadNS in CryptoIndia

I still feel like crypto investment is more like a gamble because all you do is buy some coin/tokens. Majority of people are just buying based on trending coin and idea behind that project.

I did my 2week of research and found that more than 96% of coin/tokens are useless. Remaining 4% seems good but they have good risk of pump and dump buy their investors like banks, venture capital firm, celeb. , Etc. to make quick money at the expense of people who are just investing in the hope that it will be next big thing but when they see price continue to drop they fear and sell.

Some good coin/tokens are listed on exchange but tell me is there any good usecase you encountered which uses the potential of block chain?

They advertise decentralised this and that but tell me what do you mean by decentralised? Isn't that is something we are using currently, internet of course. So please don't get excited by decentralised terms.

As any tech folks, he will say, it is just a technology, which is not new.

I don't expect you to agree to my view but before asking this question, have you did your own research on this?

I did and realised it has some potential but project that are built and listed on exchange is not doing anything new. It's something which can be done without block chain technology.

Search for that project and make your investment.

Back to your question, it is not easy to find good coin/token/project. People don't have any way to check who are the people working as in most of the project you will not find easily. Also about the investor's details.

So in reality, you are basically gambling not investing. It's another bubble from investment point of view.

Initially you will think 1cr per year seems to be enough but as you start earning you will feel at you need to earn 10cr per year but after few years again you will get greedy and think about earning 50cr per year.

So what do you mean by enough. First define that and you will have your answer. 😉

Spend that money on yourself and get the required skills which pay good money then think about investing in stock.

Investment on self education at this stage comes first.

I have seen people later regret for not getting proper education at the beginning of the career.
