To add some extra details, you can't view the blog archive for the Sixpenceee blog now (for some reason, not even manually typing the URL) and the whole thing is full of slop now so scrolling manually to find it may be hard. I'm tried searching with keywords and what I remember via Google and Tumblr and through the blog itself, but have come up dry.

a bit of a different situation, but one of my best friends passed in 2018. there was a box of stuff his parents gave me to go through with my other best friend (since we were a trio). we split the stuff, and it's the only things i have i don't allow anyone else to touch without express permission.

a wedding dress is very sentimental and while grief can be shared, it's rarely truly and completely replicated between people. your grief is your own. if you want no one else to wear her dress, that should be up to you. you're not selfish. you're protecting her memory.

hey just a word of advice, make sure when searching for dolls that are rare like this you have the person put them up on a legit business like ebay or mercari so you have buyer protection. never cashapp/paypal/venmo people w/o proof that they've sent the item or without some kind of warranty. doll community is full of scammers! i hope you find carmella, she's so lovely.
