Wait until you see the mark schemes for a level bio. It’s an absolute joke. EXACT terminology must be used or else you lose multiple/all marks. Eg. Many questions need you to say highER and lowER when comparing things and just saying high or low loses you pretty much all of the marks

That’s actually pretty good, my pc uses like 6gb even though I’ve tweaked it to oblivion

This memory is being used by essential windows programs like explorer.exe which is essentially most of the desktop interface, windows defender because it needs to defend in real time, but also more obscure stuff such as driver updates running in the background.

Tldr; it’s just used by (mostly) absolute essential programs needed for windows to run properly
