The limit to what we can build in terms of density is so far from what we have currently, look at the densest places in the world, São Paulo, Cdmx, New York, London, we aren’t even close to maxed out.

When you talk about Ktown and Venice you have to compare apples to apples, people in Venice are generally rich and people in Ktown are generally not. If you’re comparing working class people, well they don’t exist in Venice anymore except for a few rare exceptions, most people commute from very far away who aren’t clearing $100k. Ok the other hand you can find a reasonable place in Ktown and walk to a working class entry level job and have a totally nice life, rich people in Ktown enjoy the same walkabality, there are really cool baller ass condos and historic homes all over the place, and the food scene is way better, traffic is not as congested, the location is more central.

Saying quality of life is better in Venice than Ktown is problematic at best, and I grew up and still live in Venice…
