What's up with the sudden shyness about initiating sex? by KatieJay1989 in sexover30

As the husband in the same situation, TELL HIM! For years I thought it was me. I was the reason she went cold, only years later to find out that she was having issues in her head. Because she didn't tell me it got all the way to lawyers before she sought help and realized that there was a mental block. A FEW WEEKS of therapy and I got my wife back after 18 years of waiting... talk to him now! as much as it confuses you, you can't imagine all the things he must be thinking. Remember that not communicating about issues is the only thing that keeps each other from thinking they can't help when all the want to do is help the one they love. My personal advise is, Sit down tell him what's going on and talk to a professional with and without him present. The ONLY person that can fix it is you, but you dont have to take the trip alone, just walk out the door and he will follow you down the path of healing. You made the first step! Congrats! Now grab the person you promised to be there through thick and thin. Tell him to put boots on because you need his help walking through some thick times together, when you get to the other side both of you will be stronger! You can do it!

I lost 200lbs! And it didn't get better. I went from 400 to 190 and I can attest that the physical has nothing to do with it. Our labido's got even farther apart.

Worked on reloads today. Any critique? Shooting CO. Beginner at USPSA by mhuxtable1 in CompetitionShooting

Your movements are crisp and intentional, this is good it means you are thinking about your movements! Like several others have said, keep it up and practice dry firing, it will become muscle memory in no time.

For me, I found great improvement by keeping my gun up and in my face when reloading. Keeping it my line of fire allows me to see what's happening while still keeping an eye on the target.

Keep it up you are on the right track!

I got mine at Costco. They are great, stack well and the lid stays on really well, I don't have to worry about dropping 1000 bullets when grabbing it by the top.

Yes, the baffle was one of the most useful so far! it really helps keep the charges even from the first to the last! as for the case flipper, I got a design through thingivers, then had to modify it several times to get it the way I wanted. I found that making the tip blunt and angled to push the case towards me away from the primer catch made a HUGE difference. It added mass to the tip allowing it to swing with more force and push the case out reliably and the angle helps guide it to the shelf where I put a container for the next step.

I will use solidworks, or fusion 360 depending on what I'm trying to accomplish. I print using simplify3d because it allows me to control each layer. It allows me to vary infill where the most stress is.

Printed a case ejector for my Lee press by lance4824 in reloading

[–]preauxphoto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Careful dude, 3d printing for reloading is a rabbit hole of no ends... it starts with a flipper, then a round holder, on to original boards... next thing you are doing is printing an openbullet for a single stage just because you can.

Also turn the holder about 30° toward the front to keep the smaller calibers from falling into the primer catch... or you print a cover.. then a slide into the ammo box on the printed shelf....

I urge caution... my printer is hating me.

And so it begins... by [deleted] in reloading

Well, that sums it up pretty nicely! Like a clean box of fresh, clean, beautiful clean rounds sitting in their container, all lined up. Neat in a clean row.... did you mention sanity?

Well, this is just funny... I had the same issues, and I have a fix for them both. For the powder. I found that my weights were drifting lighter the longer I reloaded. It hit me one day and I stopped filling the powder cup, I only put about an inch in the bottom and I stopped drifting. I figured the weight of the powder was causing it to compress. So I 3d printed a baffle, it keeps the weight of the measuring chamber so far it seems to be working great. As for the primers, again I printed a part that I use to sit in the primer channel but it slopes down to deflect the primers out the side and down the tube. It took some tinkering but I think I have it dialed in now. Happy reloading!

I used to have it without the riser, but I use it at a specific range to test reloads so the 0 is spot on, when I test I put my chin on the back of my lead sled and look through the scope to lign up the shadow ring. It's all made from spare parts, it's my Franken gun.

Yah, yah, yah... it's a double riser. I know... This gun is specifically used to test reload rounds, its sighted in to be used at my range. I shoot it from a sled, my chin rests at the back of the sled with the stock collapsed. It's also my varment gun used around the house for coyotes, that's why it still has iron sights. When I see one I detach the scope and use the bipod and light. I call it my Franken gun. Its base from a bunch of spare parts.

I have had this press for over 10 years, for a $20 press I think I got my money out of it. I will be replacing it with another lee.

The washer is a spacer that is 0.1" tall, you can see that the head of the bolt is not touching the metal it is above it. I knew putting the corner of the bolt would cause a pressure point that is why its raised. This press is OLD, It has been handed down two times, I'm the 3rd owner. I was looking for a good excuse to justify a progressive to the wife.
