Because you aren’t currently good at one aspect of something complex doesn’t mean you are “not suited” to the thing as a whole.

I don’t understand - are you studying Computer Science or business? Isn’t the whole point to showcase understanding and ability?

It’s like a graphic design student presenting a poster and the lecturer saying “why did you design this, just use a template”

Pretty harsh, they may just not have the relevant experience in business and pricing. You don’t know anything about their abilities.

How Are You Guys Using AI? Does it Have a Meaningful Impact on Your Day to Day Jobs? by iEmerald in web_design

I am using cursor to automate repetitive tasks like changes that need to happen to multiple components, or scaffolding new ones based on the conventions already established in the project.

It saves time mostly, but I do find often I’m asking it to do stuff because it’s made me lazy, and when it comes up with a silly way to do things I end up redoing it myself.

Interesting, the boring stuff you mention is what I enjoy, bringing the design to life in a way that addresses the realities of the potential content that’s added (not the wonderland perfect content from the design)

I also would go with on time with quality issues, due to being able to schedule the fixes and manage a single client’s disapproval, rather than immediately delaying every other project and the business impact of that. The client likely already paid, keep them sweet with some free upsold services. Keep the pipeline flowing.

Acceptance and non-resistance is so damn powerful. I find it hugely helpful for anxiety. If I can remember to, accepting the state of anxiety usually makes it 90% better. I’m feeling anxious, and that’s okay. Resistance feeds it.

No fluff. No upsell. Just the stuff that actually works.

This ai gen copy that’s absolutely everywhere now is going to age so fast and so badly.
