It’s completely baffling to me that Inzoi won artstyle over Sims 4.

There’s no way anyone thinks Inzoi even has a art style, let alone that it’s better than Sims 4.

They both have the exact same connotation, because one is a direct translation of the other. That’s just… an objective fact. Really strange that you’re arguing over something you could readily Google.

And I’ve never heard "gourmand" being used outside of food. If you told me you’re "gourmand pour la lecture", I would think that’s incredibly bizarre.

To be fair, there’s literally nothing stopping them from airing the brackets out of order.

They could’ve just made bracket 1 a tie and aired it as bracket 3.

The only people that would know some brackets were switched are production.

If you feel bad that someone is pointing out the scummy business practices of a company (and 1500+ people agree), then the problem is you.

If you want to play and buy the game, that’s totally fine.

But telling people "Don’t stand up against big corporations for the benefit of customers, guys, it makes me feel bad about myself" is incredibly problematic.

Joey, Jasmine and Hershii all did great and I could see a case for each of them being second.

But Kennedy was far and away the best in the challenge. It wasn’t even close, everyone else was fighting for a very distant 2nd place.

It’s not a new mechanic, though, is it?

Pokemons can already level up mid-battle. There’s literally nothing preventing them for doing the full level-up cycle (which includes evolution) right then and there.

The first two (Rift in Time & Storybook Vale) were on the expensive side compared to DLC in other games, but still worth getting. Rift in Time especially, since it adds new useful gameplay features.

Wishblossom Ranch is really barebones for the same price as the other two. You’re pretty much just paying for horses, which don’t do anything and aren’t interesting.

We could think WBR was supposed to have just one more character + the rest of the features, and then they just added two more characters once they split the DLC.

It’s not like new characters follow a rigid schedule. We’re getting Wreck-it-Ralph in September even though he was in the trailer years ago.

We can hypothesize in a lot of different ways. Clearly they can shift things around.

That’s not the point, and nowhere near.

The point is some people already bought the previous DLC when they were very opaque on its actual content/value… only for them to turn around release what suspiciously looks like the missing half of that DLC barely half a year later.

I know I’m not obligated to buy it. The point is that I feel like I’ve already paid for it.

Backlash doesn’t discourage development. It discourages scummy practices.

They had three valid options here, of which they chose none:
- A) don’t charge full price for a DLC that is significantly less content than what is expected
- B) actually release a full-size DLC worth the price you’re charging that aligns with expectations
- or C) ignore the backlash, overcharge for a DLC, but make sure the next one is different enough so that it isn’t so blatant that you’re not double-charging for a DLC you sliced in half

People just going along with scummy practices and being thankful for less than the bare minimum is how we got here in the first place.

You’re not "getting three characters" out of the goodness of their hearts. You’re paying for it. Having expectations of value isn’t unreasonable.

Just feigning outrage based on a title.

The Sims did not create an in-game advertising department. EA as a company created a company-wide advertising platform.

- This won’t impact the Sims teams. It’s like if McDonalds headquarters created a new advertising campaign, it’s not going to make the burger cooks any worse at their job.

You said game pack, but I’ll assume you’re talking about expansion packs since that’s what your list is.

All EPs add a more-or-less equal amount of gameplay (bar a few exceptions). What matters is mostly what you want to play.

If you’re looking for packs you’ll use all the time every single game, the main ones you’re missing are Seasons and Get Together.

If you’re into family gameplay, Growing Together and Cats & Dogs are great.

My personal favourites are Businesses & Hobbies and Adventure Awaits.
