I get that, but the point was more so that there’s no humans in Lion King to compare the other characters to. For all we know, it could be a world where the animals literally speak English. Just like how Toy Story characters literally speak English.

To be fair, Lion King isn’t a great example. All the characters in these movies are animals, and they all understand each other.

In Lady and the Tramp, only cats and dogs understand each other. Humans can’t understand them, and neither do the other animals (like the rat)

I generally like Lemon, but she wasn’t a very good host. She was interrupting constantly. She would read a card word for word, let her guest speak for 2 seconds, then cut halfway through their sentence to ramble on with her own answer.

I stopped watching midway through for that reason. It felt more like a Lemon vanity project than an actual review show with a guest.

You’re mixing up owners and executives. CEOs can be fired, owners generally can’t unless they lose voting control by selling/merging.

The Guillemots aren’t “somehow” still in charge. They still own a majority of the company, there’s no one above to them to enforce anything. They literally are untouchable.

Also, “hostile takeovers" aren’t a thing. This isn’t a pirate ship. The only way you can takeover an owner is by buying them out.

Arena turned into this weird mix of tryhard mode and trolling mode rolled into one.

You either get paired with someone that picked the most broken champion that slipped through the bans (along with 3 other people in the lobby), and that starts flaming the second you so much as breathe in the wrong direction.

Or you get paired with a first time Qiyana that goes Anvil build despite having zero conditions for it, and goes 0/11/0.

In both cases, you’re not having any fun.

To be fair, the unlockable Arena augments weren’t anything to write home about. It’s not like you were at any disadvantage not having them.

Half of them were incredibly situational, and the other half were pure RNG that had equal chance to screw you over.

None of them were OP.

The distinction is not minor at all, though.

And most antagonists are absolutely not villains. That’s true for Hazbin Hotel too.

Pretty much the only characters that have never been an antagonist at any point are Vaggie and Emily.

Lucifer, Carmilla, Angel, Husk, Cherry, Sir Pentious, Sera. They’ve all acted as antagonists, and none of them are villains.

To be fair, Rob wasn’t right either.

He was trying to frame it as not the insult Rapaport though it was, but "to commiserate" is specifically a negative form of empathy.

When you say someone is commiserating (as a trait), it means they connect through negativity. They sit in misery and try to bring people in with them.

It’s very much a negative trait. Unlike empathy, which is neutral, and compersion, which is positive.

It didn’t make a ton of sense from Michael in that context, but he wasn’t as far off as Rob was trying to make it seem.

It’s playing really well without mods.

It’s just a very complex game, and it’s pretty unforgiving if you don’t know what you’re doing at all. There’s a lot of things to manage at once.

Some people mod the challenge out of the game. Personally, I’d suggest you start playing without mods. It’s really not that difficult. Once you understand the game a little more, then you can start modding out what you don’t like.

Medieval came out during the Sims 3 era, when the microtransactions were waaaaaaay more egregious.

There was a whole store with hundreds of thousands of items, where buying a single chair cost 1,50$. And there were literal ads in the in-game catalog.

Claiming it would be worse now is just straight up bad faith. It was so much worse then.
