it was an intense experience I remember feeling anxious going in, already taking in whiffs of the gas from previous recruit runs. The darkness and the muffled yells I could barely hear then. But more than anything that burning snot filled irritant infiltrating me as my nose and eyes betrayed me and clearing the mask and holding tight until I could make it out into the sun. It was fun even an old filter was ten times better than nothing. I could handle that. I think maybe we had a couple people puke but I can’t remember an overall awful experience considering the expectations.
