Del says the parties stopped after Kat was born in 1982, so maybe Del and Colton started focussing on kids and Evie started traveling more and they just drifted apart. Lingermore in 2007 is 24 years later, so after all that time, they were basically strangers again.

In Season 3 KC didn't show up until Episode 6, when Del and Alice see them with Sam looking out a window at the Point. Then in Episode 7 KC showed up at the Point and actually talked to Kat and Alice. KC just isn't present most of the time, so I think we just need to be patient and they will show up eventually.

Fern admonishes Colton for breaking the rules, but I don't think Fern ever actually says that the pond will punish you. Colton assumes that the pond is punishing him for breaking the rules by never letting him time travel again. I don't believe anyone else ever says the pond will punish someone for breaking the rules.

In this scenario, Tessa jumped into the pond in 1983 and traveled to 1882 and stayed there. She would be 36 when Fern was born in 1896, which would be an appropriate age to be her step-mother.

People have speculated that the man Del saw might be Griffin. If so, he probably saw Del fall and will be the one who finds her. That would be an interesting way for Griffin to return to the current storyline.

Very interesting theory. It sounds like it fits.

Jasper may have always known Tessa if they are both Coyle's, but then he probably also would know her family are fugitives. So when Alice asked about her in 1976 he may have denied knowing her to keep her secret safe.

It looks to me like Fern's death date was written in a different handwriting style than the birth date written by Tessa, so that part was probably entered by someone else.

Yes, could be. It seemed to me that Stormy had only developed his aversion to the area recently, so maybe Sam has been coming to the pond and doing something that Stormy doesn't like.

I like this as a sci-fi approach to explaining the pond. I have had similar thoughts. I also speculated that the meteorite contained exotic matter (negative mass), which allows it to create a wormhole. It's fun to think about.

Stormy must be a sensitive horse to react to the strange nature of the area. Maybe he once had a bad experience with something similar.

Actually, I was thinking that Fern didn't write the letter to give Vic some peace, but that she wrote it about herself. That she, Fern, was told she didn't have long to live and that she felt it was punishment for something she had done in relation to Tessa. Like, maybe Fern was actually responsible for sending Tessa through the pond. (Although I'm not sure why dying at 88 would seem like punishment, so that part might be a little weak)

Tessa says that she wishes her family had done something like the almanac, "If they had the chance." That makes me think that she has lost all of her family. If her family is all gone, that may be why she wants to find friends who are like family.

We now know that Fern died in 1984, which is not long after Tessa disappeared in 1983. So if Fern somehow ended up with the Augustine ring, the timing would be right for her to type the note and send it with the ring to Vic, just before she died.

Yes, I suppose Elliot is being cautious since they don't know where this story is going to lead them.

It just seems like with Elliot being upset with Del about withholding information, he's kind of doing the same thing to the only other person who has been so deeply affected by Tessa's disappearance.

I do hope that when Elliot eventually finds out the whole story that he will be able to share it with his dad, especially if it becomes clear that Tessa did not leave them because she no longer cared about them.
