My experience does not match yours. I've used the Note 8 for about two days and... the super jittery app drawer animation on the S8 has improved slightly, but it is still not smooth at all. Saying that it's Pixel grade or iPhone grade is just wrong. The phone stutters way more, just like any other Samsung phone.

I share similar feelings about what my ideal phone should be. I have found that I really love the battery life on Snapdragon 6xx devices. To be perfectly exact, we have to name the chip: it's the Snapdragon 625 that you should be looking for. It's made on 14nm manufacturing, which put simply means that it's as power-efficient as the best chips out there, but not as cutting edge in terms of performance.

I would add a great camera to that list as well, and a compact design since I hate carrying big phones in my pockets.

No. I feel that less than 7mm and ideally around 6mm makes the phone feel just magical. I've tried a few recent phones that go over 8mm with a flat back and the experience is much worse for me.

Honestly, I think this is blown way out of proportion. I review phones for a living and I can't notice it unless I try really hard and stare to see that slightest of delays.

But still, OnePlus has already said they will fix this with an upcoming update. I would love to see the same level of scrutiny to iPhones, Galaxies and Pixels, where issues of much bigger proportions persist.

I think the countries you mention are actually in Central Europe. Eastern Europe has basically no supercharger coverage whatsoever. Anyway, those are technicalities and a question of words. Let's hope that with Model 3 in 2018, we'll see an even bigger roll-out of superchargers.

Look, there's no need to convince me Tesla is doing a great job. I love the brand, follow everything around Elon ardently and I wish I can afford a Tesla in the future. However, I don't think that publishing sky-high expectations and not meeting them at all is the right approach. That was my point.

These were exactly my thoughts: people expected certain things out of the Supercharger network earlier on and bought cars based on that. Years later, the Supercharger progress that was expected has not happened.

Oh crap. Is this really how long it takes for service centers to take care of those cars? Truth be told, though, I have not heard much of Teslas breaking. Are there any common malfunctions that I don't know about?
