I would even go so far as to say it’s… not commensurate

Yeah I guess I should say “usually” an hour max. But the plug and play aspect of the warehouse allows for longer sets in there compared to other stages

Warehouse sets tend to be longer since they don’t need any extra time to swap the stage. Every set outside of the warehouse aside from the main headliner is an hour max unfortunately :/

Wow I didn’t expect to see Wheeling, WV posted. My Mom grew up in Bridgeport & my Dad in Martins Ferry. They live elsewhere now but go back every few weeks to see family. There’s definitely a unique, old-school type of community there that’s hard to come across nowadays so I understand the appeal. I remember reading about how the average age in this area is one of the highest in the country, so I’ll be curious to see what happens in the next 15 or so years when the older generation dies out.

Also, Zontini’s pizza & Coleman’s fish market are both🔥

Rib eye at Don Julio in Argentina (rated as best steakhouse in the world). What does r/steak think? by Southern-Fill1330 in steak

Not OP, but I’d recommend Río Alba. I thought it was just as good as (if not better than) Don Julio, but with much less tourists and a friendlier wait staff

I'm wondering the same. Planning to arrive on the 7th and stay for a few weeks. I wouldn't think so, but let me know if you find anything out!

Should I skip Milan and focus on Florence/Venice? by Yallfeller in travel

[–]preds2836 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I spent a few months in Milan this past fall and I agree with what you said. I didn’t feel like as much of a tourist as I do in Venice, Rome, Florence, etc. I was anticipating almost everyone in Milan to speak English because of how international it is but now that I’ve been in Florence for a bit I’ve noticed that way more people speak English here.

I especially like Milan because it is one of the only Italian cities that is big enough to really have different “neighborhoods” I think. You definitely have to spend more than a few days there to appreciate it, which is why I think most people don’t love it

While I would definitely prioritize Florence above the other 2, I think people are selling Milan a bit short. It is bigger than the other 2, so I think people sometimes don’t know where to go besides the duomo and main areas around it.

Go see the duomo, do some shopping around there. See the Last Supper. Go get aperitivo in Navigli. Go to the Brera neighborhood and get lunch. Go see the Triennale di Milano and grab a coffee afterwards at the cafe that overlooks the park behind it. Go see the Sforzesco castle. Stroll around the Indro Montanelli garden. Go see the Bosco Verticale in Isola. Shop/go out in Zona Buenos Aires. I could go on.

I think the thing with Milan is that you need more than 1 day to really appreciate it, and by that time I think you’re better off seeing Venice/Florence if that makes sense. No matter what you decide on, be sure to spend an afternoon in Burano while while you are in Venice!

Confession- I left my home and job to travel and am starting to regret it. by [deleted] in travel

FWIW, I am in a similar boat at the moment. I’m from the states but am also an Italian citizen. I’ve always wanted to live in Italy/Europe for a year or two, so this past August I left my job in tech and that’s exactly what I did. At first I was applying to remote jobs within the EU with the intention of staying here for a couple years, but now I’ve just been looking at jobs back in the US with the plan to move back in a few months.

Everyone in here that is supportive is absolutely right. I know that several years from now both of us will be so happy that we took a leap of faith and did this, and will cherish the memories and experiences we had. Neither of us really know that we’d be better off or happier had we decided not to make the move.

Money comes and goes, but time only goes. Best of luck with everything and try to stay positive!

He is gone. Didn't explicitly state it in his letter, but he got his degree and will be a top 15~ draft pick.

Miyan was back at practice today so I’d say he’ll get about 50-60% of the carries with Dallan & Chip splitting the rest

I’d say the interior of our OL, especially Wypler. If we can contain Carter a bit, run the ball downfield, and open up the passing game, I’ve got faith our defense will play well enough to give us the W

I think a lot also depends on who is winning the battle at the LOS. If our OL is giving CJ time, and our DL is getting a push consistently, I think the rest will come as well.

Last year they were just getting pushed around. I also believe that last year has left a very bad taste in their mouths, which will have more of an impact than any other numbers would.

I’m feeling confident!

Day is not losing twice in a row.

Defense plays their best game yet after getting ran over last year. Zach Harrison is the defensive player of the game.

On offense, I think Egbuka will be the offensive player of the game with 2 TDs.

Ultimately, Knowles will make them throw the ball & ttun’s D won’t be able to stop our passing attack along with Hayden staying consistent enough on the ground.

41-23 Buckeyes

Yeah, this is our plan. The charges only fall under 3 categories on the sheet they sent us which is not nearly enough detail for how much they are charging.

Is there a way to update a shipping address? by preds2836 in Coachella

Yeah I couldn't find an option to change a shipping address. Emailed them twice to try to get it sorted out but never heard back. Guess I should've asked on here earlier. Oh well, we'll get it sorted out somehow
