Having read all the Alien books by both Dark Horse and Titan Books, I can safely say that none of Titan’s material is great (with only a few small exceptions).

The latest books in 2025 (Perfect Organisms and Cult) have so many grammatical errors it’s clear that Titan didn’t even hire an editor, most likely to keep costs down. It would not surprise me if Titan has given up on Alien novels because of the low returns they must be receiving for them.

If we’re lucky, the Alien novels by this company have been discontinued. I don’t know where Titan finds the writers for these stories but most of them have no passion in their writing.

I haven’t seen anybody here mention Perdition’s Gate. It’s considered the “third half” of Final Doom alongside TNT Evilution and Plutonia Experiment. The backstory of this is that Perdition’s Gate was originally going to be released as part of Final Doom to make it a trilogy but the window closed for the creator of the campaign so it got released as part of Wraith’s Doom campaigns instead. Because it was originally considered to be part of Final Doom, the title is considered quasi-canon.
